Narnia Guest House is on the outskirts of Knysna, a charming little town on the Garden Route. The guest house has wrap around views of the surrounding mountains, river, lagoon and the heads (the entrance the sea). Only 2 kms from the town it is set on 100 acres of land, with fabulous birdlife, peace and tranquility yet proximity to world class restaurants, shops and day trips to forest walks, ferry trips, deep sea whale watching, beaches and an hour away from the Tsitiskama national Park and the Cango caves in Oudtshoorn. Rooms are an explosion of African colour and craft and are 4 star graded. The best view of all from the timber clad swimming pool. Book either B+B or self-catering. Attention to detail make this place very special. Award -winning gardens, mountain bikes available for rides around the property, bass fishing in 2 dams. An experience not to be missed! |

Accommodation
Bright & Africa Room
The upstairs accommodation includes The Bright Room, which offers a queen
size bed and en-suite bathroom (bath), or The Africa Room with its twin
beds and screened-off bathroom. Both rooms offer colour TV and a balcony
with a swinging seat and sweeping views of the Knysna Heads. There is
a separate entrance from the main house and a sitting room with tea, coffee
and an honesty drinks fridge to enjoy at your leisure. (b&b only -
as there is no kitchen)
The Cottage
Fawn Cottage has one double and one twin bedroom, bathroom facilities
(bath) and colour television. There is also a dining and sitting area,
a kitchenette and a private garden. The cottage is shared only if guests
are travelling together. Self-catering. Night-lit braai facility close
by and table and chairs in the garden. Magnificent views of the heads,
the lagoon and the mountains.
The Pool House
This unit is self-catering and at the beautiful pool with a fantastic
view of mountains, river and lagoon. It has one bedroom with a queen and
a single bed and in the lounge a foldout sleeper so is ideal for a couple
and 2 children or just a romantic couple! Shower, fully equipped kitchen,
dining table that doubles as a pool table and a lovely stoep to either
relax or have meals on.
The Shed
Is our budget unit because it is not as fancy (no M-Net or DSTV, no top
sheets, tenants next door) but just as special. In fact it has the best
view of the Heads and lagoon of all and is magical for a braai under the
stars at night. Also very big with 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen,
a shower and bath and a spare single bed so it sleeps 5.
