Elephant lodge is a 4 bedroom 5 star graded lodge. Each bedroom is en suite and the lodge offers a large lounge area surrounded with glass doors for undisturbed views over the Addo Elephant National Park.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor entertainment area with braai / barbecue, plunge pool and covered seating area.

Addo River Safaris - Discover Africa's Best Kept Secret....
Listen to the call of the fish eagle as you cruise on the Maggie May Houseboat on the scenic Sundays River situated in the Colchester section of the Addo Elephant National Park.
Cruise downstream to the river mouth and world famous coastal sand dunes. Enjoy a climb to the top of the dunes or for the more adventurous slide back down on a sand board.

Capture the stunning panoramic views over the bay and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this lush corner of the Eastern Cape.
Cruise back upriver for the bush experience as you spot buck by the river banks, owls, monkeys hiding in the bush, water monitors and also fish leaping from the river onto the boat. Self catering, breakfast and dinner cruises available.

Shamwari Born Free Foundation
Born Free's Big Cat Rescue and Education Centre was built at Shamwari, in memory of Julie Ward, in 1999.
The Centre is home to nine big cats rescued by Born Free, while the education facilities benefit both local people - including hundreds of school children, and holiday-makers.
Born Free's five lions and four leopards live in large natural habitat enclosures several acres in size, surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of wild Africa. Not quite 'the wild', but the nearest possible alternative.

Daniell Cheetah Breeding Reserve
Daniell Cheetah Breeding project was established in May 2001 and started with just three cats.
It has since grown with breeding, purchase and swapping of animals. The aim of this project is to play a part in the conservation of Cheetah's (Acinonyx jabatus), the re-establishment of pure gene lines, as well as educating people to the importance of conserving this amazing species.
Daniell allow visitors to spend time with tame cheetah or with prior booking, the opportunity to walk with the cheetah.

Schotia Private Game Reserve
Enjoy a four hour guided game drive in an open Land Rover with a short refreshments and toilet break at the halfway point.
After an amazing experience where you will view more animals than you thought possible, enjoy a delicious dinner which is prepared over an open fire. A short, spot lit night drive providing the possibility of more nocturnal animals completes your experience.

Quad Biking Adventures
Guided adventure trail from “Club-House to “Ocean Viewpoint” and back, approximately 2 hours with 20 minute stop at viewpoint. Quad Bikes, helmets, guide is included.

Dungbeetle Tours
Full day tours into Addo Elephant National Park, Half day tours into Addo Elephant National Park, Hiking over the famous Alexandria Dune Fields, Afternoon and evening safaris on private game reserves. Lion sightings almost guaranteed!

Addo Dungbeetle Breeding Station
A guided visit to The Addo Dung Beetle Breeding Station will teach you more about this unique beetle and we will gladly share our efforts to conserve one of the “ little African rarities” of our country.
