The Elephant House is only 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth Airport. It is is an exclusive 9 bedroomed lodge situated near the Addo Elephant National Park in the fertile sun-drenched Sundays River Valley.

Elephant House is a rambling colonial farmhouse with thatched roofs, and deep verandas filled with comfortable sofas, Persian Rugs and a private art collection, built around courtyards and lush gardens.

Situated in the Sunday’s River Valley, 8km from main entrance to Addo Elephant National Park, an easy 45 minute drive from the historic Indian Ocean harbor town of Port Elizabeth in the malaria-free Eastern Cape.

How To Get To Elephant House

From Port Elizabeth
Take the N2 towards Grahamstown then take the Motherwell / Markman off ramp and turn left onto the R335 which is the road that takes you straight to Addo and the elephant park.
Follow this road for about 50km and you will be driving through the town and once you have crossed the railway line, 4km from there, you will see The Elephant House clearly signposted on the left of the road. A further 8km you will get the Addo Elephant National Park on your right.
