Woodall offers luxury Boutique Hotel accommodation in South Africa's Eastern Cape. Opening onto beautiful rose or indigenous gardens, alive with the calling of birds, the rooms at Woodall are as seeped in luxury as they are in comfort.
Each room is spacious, private, and equipped with every convenience from climate control to internet access. Other features include private verandas, en-suite bathrooms, mini hi-fi’s, mini-bars, sumptuous furnishings, crisp percale linen, bathrobes, telephones, electronic safes and CD players.
All have private outdoor showers for an enlivening experience not to be missed. Twin or King bedded rooms available. There are also two family units.

South African Country Cuisine
The gourmet food is inspired by the flavours of local ingredients and freshly picked vegetables and herbs from our own garden.
No effort or expense is spared to provide a fine dining experience bursting forth with South African flavours and textures. Karoo venison, freshly caught East Coast fish, home-made stocks, freshly baked bread, and local cheeses all form part of the irresistible menu on offer.
The chef’s creative genius is inspired by the unique flavours of freshly picked produce from Woodall’s own herb and vegetable gardens. Complementing the menu is underground wine cellar, boasting a unique and comprehensive collection of fine South African wines, personally selected by the owner. One of only 40 establishments in South Africa to be awarded the Diners Club Diamond Wine List Award in 2009.

Stylish regional cuisine is served in the distinctive thatched waterside dining room decorated with an Afro-Chic flair. This area flows onto a sundowner deck and outdoor lounge creating an enchanted mood for savouring sundowner snacks, cocktails, moonlit dinners and after-dinner drinks and cigars, with glimpses of rare South African water birds.

Breakfasts are farm-style with gourmet eggs and bacon, homemade breads, pastries, muffins, jams and preserves. Simple, stylish lunches can be enjoyed on the deck, at the pool, or on your private patio.
Packed breakfasts, picnic baskets, healthy spa cuisine and specific meal requests are keenly catered for by the Woodall kitchen.

Directions to Woodall Country House from Port Elizabeth Airport (64.8km)(1 hour)
· Exit the Airport via De Havilland to petrol station (390m). Leave roundabout at 2nd exit into Allister Miller Road (M11).
· Continue down Allister Miller Road through two roundabouts for 1.6km and turn left.
· Travel down Forest Hill Drive for 600m which then becomes Mitchell Street. Continue 450m and turn right into Walmer Boulevard (M9).
· Travel down Walmer Boulevard for 320m. Turn left and then bear right onto Settlers Way (M4).

· Continue 6.1km’s along the M4 until you reach the Deal Party / Burman Road / Grahamstown intersection. Bear right under the bridge and take N2 in direction of Grahamstown for 11 km.
· Bear left off N2 at exit 761 onto R335 (signposted Motherwell, Markman, St Georges Strand).

· After 500m turn left and travel 42.7km through Addo village on R335 in direction of Addo Elephant Park (you will pass a crocodile ranch on the left hand side).
· Turn left off R335 at Woodall Sign onto a gravel road and immediately (40m) right again in front of Elephant House Guest House.
· Continue for 1.2km to Woodall Country House & Spa
Directions from Paterson (32km)(25 minutes)

· At Paterson turn of the N10 onto R342 (right from Cradock and left Nanaga), travel 23km to Addo Elephant National Park.
· Continue (road now called R335) for 7.8 km.
· Turn right off R335 at Woodall Sign onto a gravel road and immediately (40m) right again in front of Elephant House Guest House.
· Continue for 1.2km to Woodall Country House & Spa.
