Accommodation at Reedsdell Country Guest Farm
Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (main bedroom en-suite) with a lounge and dining room provide comforts for a pleasing stay. The open fireplace, solid fuel heater, electric blankets and wall-mounted heaters ward off the winter cold. Meals provided. Sleeps up to 10 persons
Stable Cottage
A lovingly restored stone barn, Stable Cottage is the epitome of a mountain retreat. The delightful and tastefully decorated cottage is fully equipped for self-catering with a kitchen / dining room, lounge, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom and 1½ bathrooms.
The open fireplace and wall-mounted heaters add to the cosy atmosphere in winter when snow is often seen on the mountain peaks (and on the ground!) from the comfort of the lounge. The cottage is serviced and meals provided on request. Sleeps from 4-6 persons.
Camping
Reedsdell Guest Farm has added camping to their accommodation facilities! What can beat the view up Lundeans Nek from your sheltered camping spot under the pines close to the farmhouse and shed, nestling below the sheer cliffs of the majestic peaks of the Southern Drakensberg - an awe-inspiring landscape with many wildflowers and a variety of birdlife and small wildlife.
The ablution facilities include 10 hot water showers and six flush loos – ideal for accommodating big groups with a never-ending supply of hot water supplied by a 2000L donkey-system.
We specialise in-group events, catered where needed, in our beautiful sandstone shed built from stone that used to house the turn-of-the-century Wartrail Cheese Factory.
The shed can easily seat up to 200 people comfortably. For individual families, there are indoor facilities for eating or relaxing in when there is wet weather inside the shed.
