Visit the Sun Coast Casino, Ushaka Marine World - here there
are numerous water rides and attractions, with aquariums and restaurants
and the International Convention Centre.
All are only a 5-minute drive away. A 10 minute drive takes you to Florida
Road in Morningside where you can enjoy a vibrant night life.
The afternoons often bring fresh invigorating ocean breezes enough to inspire a visitor to enjoy a stroll on the promenade whilst watching the waves crash majestically on the sun drenched beaches.
The Parade Hotel is well located to visit surrounding attractions: Botanic
Gardens located on the Berea on Botanic Gardens Road.
These award winning gardens have a wide collection of local and exotic
plants including the world famous Thorpe Orchid House. The gardens also
have a wonderfully quaint tea house serving delicious creamed scones and
crumpets.
Mitchell Park located in Morningside on Innes Road features a small zoo and a fabulous flower garden. The park also has a tea house serving meals.
How To Get To Parade Hotel
From King Shaka International Airport
Head east toward Mdloti / St / D144, take the ramp onto Outer Ring Road
/ N2 - Partial toll road and take the N3 exit toward Durban.
Keep left at the fork to continue toward Western Freeway / N3 and merge
onto Western Freeway / N3, continue onto Commercial Road / Dr A.B.Xuma
Street and continue to follow Commercial Road.
Continue onto Monty Naicker Road / Pine Street, continue onto Boscombe
Place and turn right at Serridge Square. Make a U-turn at Marine Parade
/ O.R. Tambo Parade, destination will be on the left.
From Parade Hotel to King Shaka International Airport
Head west on Serridge Square toward Boscombe Place, take the 1st left
onto Boscombe Place and slight right to stay on Boscombe Place.
Continue onto Monty Naicker Road / Pine Street, continue to follow Pine
Street and continue onto Western Freeway / N3.
Take exit 165 for N2 toward Stanger / Port Shepstone, keep right at the
fork to continue toward Outer Ring Road / N2 and merge onto Outer Ring
Road / N2 - Partial toll road. Exit onto Mdloti St / D144.
