The very popular and well-known Wagon Wheel Country Lodge is conveniently located just off the N1, 1km from the charming Great Karoo town of Beaufort West on the Johannesburg side. The new owners have not only restored the charming Wagon Wheel’s dignity but have also upgraded all the deluxe rooms with crisp white percale linen.

The newly revamped rooms offer you the best value for money at very affordable rates. To satisfy the needs of all travelers we offer various types of accommodation from Deluxe, Standard and Economy rooms to family units, self catering, caravan facilities and backpackers accommodating up to150 guests.

Deluxe Rooms (17)
These tastefully decorated rooms with white percale linen offer air conditioners and heaters as well as DSTV and tea and coffee facilities.

Standard Rooms (24)
These include spacious family rooms as well as rooms with twin beds with air conditioners, heaters, DSTV and tea and coffee facilities.

Economy Rooms (11)
These comfortable rooms include family rooms as well as twin rooms and are excellent value for money. They have fans and tea and coffee facilities. They also have their own braai area.

Self Catering Units (3)
These units with fully equipped kitchens are well suited for extended stay visitors and can accommodate families as well. They also offer DSTV.

Backpackers (5)
These rooms are furnished with bunk beds and have a communal bathroom with their own swimming pool shared with the caravan park.

Caravan Park
Caravaners have their own communal bathrooms as well as a swimming pool and braai area. Children can enjoy the backpacker’s room instead of setting up tents for an overnight stay.

Surrounded by the spectacular scenery of mountain and desert views, the Wagon Wheel offers you warm hospitality and great comfort in a unique setting. Cool off in our sparkling swimming pool after a days traveling before enjoying a refreshment and braai in our new boma while watching the Karoo sun set. There is also the option of unwinding in the Ladies Bar and then enjoying a homemade Karoo dinner in our á la carte dining room. This is the perfect overnight accommodation on the N1 main route between Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Cancelation Policy
If cancelled up to 21 days before the date of arrival, R60.00 surcharge will be charged.
If cancelled up to 20 days before the date of arrival - 25% of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival - 50% of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival - 25% of all nights will be charged
If cancelled later or in case of no- show, 100 % of all nights will be charged.

Wagon Wheel Country Lodge is die ideale oorslaapfasiliteit na 'n lang dag of die pad. Ons "Deluxe" kamer was skoon en netjies en voldoende
gemeubileer. Die lugversorger het 'n groot verskil gemaak aan die 32 grade Karoo-hitte. Ons het rustig geslaap en Ontvangs het reggestaan om ons sleutel te ontvang toe ons 04:00 weer in die pad geval het
