Bambelela is a privately owned and operated wildlife rehabilitation
and conservation farm in the Waterberg district. It is well known
and especially well regarded for its exceptional work with Vervet
monkeys. You will also have the opportunity to watch other wild animals such as various antelopes, zebras, warthogs, porcupines and many different bird species which are attracted to the Groot Nylsoog River and its marsh passing through Bambelela. Our guests can join us at Nappy Hour and play with some of the orphans in our kindergarten. |

Day Visitors are welcome to book our 2h guided wildlife tour to gain knowledge about the fauna & flora of this region, our work and meet the animals in our care with great and close up photo opportunities.
Bambelela Guest Farm Accommodation
SHIBULA offers 2 en-suite bedrooms, a fire place and
a rock-built outside Braai area.
HO THABELA offers guests 2 very spacious bedrooms with
each a double bed and a sleeper couch, a bathroom to share with an additional
toilet / basin downstairs and it sleeps 4 adults and 4 kids.
JABULA offers an open loft bedroom with one double bed
and a sleeper couch upstairs. The loft can accommodate 2 kids and 2 adults.
Facilities for all these chalets include welcoming bottle of wine, housekeeping
service twice a day at a time convenient to guests, full DSTV [except
JABULA: only free TV but DSTV-decoder in chalet for bringing along your
own DSTV card], tea / coffee and toiletries.
There is a 2 hour guided tour through animal rehab, months December to
October: join us for NAPPY HOUR [Baby Vervet's getting their Nappies on
for their night in bed with their surrogate mom], January- May: Play-Time
with the Vervet Monkey-Babies in the Monkey-Kindergarten, pool / sauna
towels.
