Bergsig covers 340 hectares of Bushveld. The lodge is located on a high lying area close to the Vingerspruit dam, with a panoramic view of the Hoek Mountains and the sweeping valleys below.
Magnificent bird life, and a wide selection of reptiles and insects create a lively atmosphere for grazing Zebra, Kudu, Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Red hartebeest, Giraffe and many more.

Our venue can be turned around into a stunning romantic setting for that dream wedding with the amphitheater for the ceremony completing the setting.
The surrounding bushveld and the free walking game offer incredible opportunities for amazing photography and lasting memories.

Bergsig Eco Estate Accommodation

Bundu-huts
These units are all about leaving modern living behind you, and getting back in touch with nature. The Bundu-huts are aimed at nature lovers.
There are three comfortable self catering & self contained thatch, timber & brick huts. Each hut has a double bed with a bunk bed (sleeps two adults, two children) and bathroom en-suite.
There is no electricity in our bundu-huts, but they are all fully equipped with gas appliances and rechargeable lighting. Enjoy the soothing waters of our rock pool on hot summer’s days or relax around a fire during the cooler winter evenings.

• No electricity, only Gas and Paraffin as well as solar geyser at one unit with the vision of doing the rest.

Chalets
Beautiful spacious and luxurious chalets, Chalet 28 has a stunning view of the dam, while dual Chalets 21/2 & 21/3 create a relaxing environment within a bushveld setting.
Group Accommodation
Perfect for a small crowd that wants to experience the bushveld as a group in a cozy environment.

Here we have 4 bedrooms – all en-suite – 3 bedrooms have 4 twin beds each and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds – sleeping a total of 14 guests. A kitchen equipped with a fridge, freezer and cooker top and an outside bar and braai area.
Laze away in the pool under magnificent elephant heads and rock art. A must for bigger families or groups of friends wanting to spend some time together.

This beautiful thatched lodge has 6 double bedrooms upstairs, all with open decks with views over the magnificent Bushveld and the Hoek Mountains. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning and the honeymoon suite has its own Spa Bath.
Downstairs supports a comfortable Lounge with DSTV and in our Lapa area you can relax around a typical Bushveld fire discussing the day’s events.
