Ntokozo & Sibaka Game Lodge Accommodation
The Three Star Sibaka Camp is definitely for the more discerning visitor
who wants to experience the bushveld, but also wants to enjoy the luxury
accommodation provided in the fully equipped self catering chalets.
Ntokozo Camp offers rustic fully equipped self-catering chalets and a
safari style tent camp overlooking a dam with bird and animal life to
transport you into the exotic African Bush.
Sibaka (Place of Gathering) ~ Luxury Chalets
This 3 Star self catering camp is definitely for the more discerning visitor
who wants to experience the bush, but also wants luxury accommodation
and facilities. We are also very pleased to inform you that we now serve
breakfast with all luxury chalet bookings.
Situated in beautiful gardens, surrounded by the African bush the camp
consists of 7 well equipped thatched chalets of which 3 are stand alone
units and the rest are side by side.
The chalets are designed to accommodate from 1 to 6 guests with full
ablutions containing either a bath or shower. Each chalet has a kitchen
which is equipped with a fridge / freezer, a two plate stove with oven,
a microwave, toaster, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, crockery &
cutlery.
Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. For the swimming pool area
guests are requested to please bring their own swimming towels.
Each chalet has its own DSTV. Braai facilities are available at each
chalet or use of the undercover braai area and the braai area at the Raptors
pub may be enjoyed.
All chalets are fully serviced on a daily basis by our well trained staff
to ensure your stay at the lodge is relaxing and as enjoyable as possible.
This Camp consists of two Rustic types of accommodation:
Ntokozo (Happiness) ~ Rustic Chalets
Our Rustic thatched self catering chalets overlook the dam, with its spectacular
bird and animal life, making you feel as one with the African bush. Ntokozo
has three chalets:
- Amanzi: a luxury chalet with bathroom en-suite, 2 double
beds, plus a single bed, and it has its own kitchen and TV with full DSTV.
- Ezulweni: Rustic chalet with a double bed, plus a single
bed.
- Emfuleni: Rustic chalet with 4 single beds.
Due to its rustic nature Ezulweni and Emfuleni has shared facilities:
Ablutions (showers only), and a fully equipped kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge / freezer, two plate stove with
oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, crockery
& cutlery.
Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. For the swimming pool area
guests are requested to please bring their own swimming towels.
Braai facilities are also available. DSTV can be viewed at the Raptors
Pub at Sibaka Camp. Relax and enjoy yourself in the rock pool after a
day in the African bush.
Hlantini (The Bush) ~ Rustic Safari Tented Accommodation
This unique option is for the more adventurous outdoor camper.
Experience the bush from 3 safari tents surrounded by the best Africa
has to offer.
This camp has shared ablutions with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen
with a fridge / freezer, two plate stove with oven, microwave, toaster,
electric kettle, kitchen utensils, crockery & cutlery.
Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. For the swimming pool area
guests are requested to please bring their own swimming towels. Braai
facilities are also available. DSTV can be viewed at the Raptors Pub at
Sibaka Camp.
Ntokozo & Sibaka Game Lodge Facilities
If you need daily cleaning during your stay at the Ntokozo Camp, this
can be arranged with reception on arrival or during your stay for an extra
R30-00 per unit. Our facilities are available to all guests irrespective
of which Camp you are booked into.
Swimming Pools
Sibaka has its own swimming pool, surrounded by lovely gardens and includes
a pub counter for you to serve your drinks & meals from. Umbrellas
& deck chairs are laid out for your comfort, so you can relax in the
African Sun. Ntokozo has a lovely rock pool overlooking the dam and a
wonderful view of the African bush.
- Jacuzzi
Situated at Sibaka in the open air, where you can relax in the landscaped
surrounding gardens.
- Raptors Pub
Situated at Sibaka a fully licensed bar with a communal braai area, where
spit braais can be arranged with prior notice. The pub is also equipped
with DSTV and for a nights entertainment karaoke can also be arranged.
Please note: No personal alcohol can be brought into this area.
- Games Room
Situated at Sibaka, where one can enjoy a game of pool or darts.
- Sibaka Lounge
A place where you can take it easy, watch DSTV (lodge package) or just
read.
- Conference Facilities
Facilities are available at Sibaka for a conference for 15 delegates.
Email, Internet connections and faxing are made available, plus other
equipment relevant to a conference, such as overhead projector, a white
board etc.
- Professional Hunters Course
These courses are also organized for groups that must be made up of 10
or more delegates.
- Weddings & Parties
This is the perfect setting for these events with maximum sleep over accommodation
for 40 guests. Please note: Special prices are offered for block bookings.
Full catering can be arranged for conferences, professional hunters courses,
weddings and parties with prior arrangement.

Lodge
There is a wide variety of game to be seen including Giraffes, Zebra,
Blue Wildebeest, Nyala, Kudu, Waterbuck, Impala, Steenbok and many more.
- Game Viewing (4X4)
Our Land Rover game viewer can accommodate 10 guests. Game drives are
normally early morning and late afternoon. The game drive lasts approximately
1 hour and refreshments are sold on board.
- Game Viewing (Quad Bikes)
We can accommodate 4 guests at a time. Game drives are normally early
morning and late afternoon. The game drive lasts approximately 1 hour.
- Game Viewing (Horseback)
Horseback out rides are normally early morning and late afternoon. We
have 5 well trained horses that cater for the novice to the advanced rider.
The horseback ride lasts approximately 1 hour.
- Archery
Archery takes place at the Sibaka Boma. Guests first practice on the target
range and can then move onto the 3D range where there is a variety of
animals (warthog, bush pig, lion & impala - not real of course) as
your targets.
- Crocodile Feeding
Crocodile Feeding at the Ngwenya Enclosure takes place on Saturday
afternoons.
- Putt-Putt
18 holes Putt-Putt course.
All the above activities need to be booked in advance and the charge will
be added to your room.
Ntokozo and Sibaka Game Lodge have two crocodile enclosures. One being
where the large crocodiles are kept and the other the crocodile hatchery
for the smaller ones.
Feeding time takes place every Saturday afternoon at our crocodile farm
and we offer excursions for our guests to experience the feeding at the
Ngwenya Enclosure.
The crocodiles kept here are the Nile Crocodile - Crocodylus Niloticus
which is the only species found throughout Southern Africa. Three other
species are found in other parts of Africa these being the Slender Snouted,
the Dwarf and the Pygmy crocodiles.
How To Get To Ntokozo & Sibaka Game Lodge
From Johannesburg take the N1 northwards towards Polokwane. Pass through
two Toll gates. Continue until you reach the Bela-Bela / Settlers off-ramp.
Turn left towards Bela-Bela and go until you reach a T-junction.
Turn right and proceed over the rail-road bridge. Immediately there after
turn left at the first set of traffic light in to Potgieter Road. Turn
left into Chris Hani Road. (This is the main road in Bela-Bela).
On your left will be the Aventura Resort. Go past the hospital on the
left hand side until you reach a traffic circle. Turn left into the R516
road. Continue for 47km until the Kromdraai turn off is reached.
Turn left onto a gravel road and go for 11km where the main road makes
a right angle turn to the right. Do not take this turn but continue straight
on onto a smaller road, proceed along this road for 1,8km.
The main gate to Sibaka & Ntokozo Game Lodge is on your right hand
side. An alternative route is via Brits. Go towards Hartebeespoort dam
and get onto the R511 towards Brits. Once you reach Brits continue straight
on. You will still be on the R511.
Continue for 90km until you reach the turn-off to Bela-Bela, which is
the R516. Turn right and go for 38km until you reach the Kromdraai turn
off.
Turn right onto a gravel road and go for 11km where the main road makes
a right angle turn to the right. Do not take this turn but continue straight
on onto a smaller road, proceed along this road for 1,8km. The main gate
to Sibaka & Ntokozo Game Lodge is on your right hand side.
