Phumuza Bush Lodge is a 10-minute drive from the town of Bela-Bela, which provides a good selection of shops, restaurants, the Aventura hot springs resort, an African market, and much more.
We offer 100 acres of diverse indigenous bushveld, prolific birdlife and small game, and there is a quaint look-out tower which provides an awesome view - ideal for a romantic picnic, with picnic baskets available on request.

We also offer night walks, as well as bush breakfasts. All the chalets and log cabins are self-catering with fully equipped kitchens, each with a gas cooker and barbecue facilities. In addition, bush camping and caravan sites are available, as well as limited conference facilities.

This unit is wheelchair friendly, equipped with twin beds, indoor shower with separate toilet and boasts an ethnic and traditional design. Other features include garden views, self catering and smoking in the rooms is NOT allowed.

2x Zebra and Guinea Fowl Chalet
The chalet is equipped with double beds / single beds, a private outdoor shower, toilet, garden views, braai facilities and smoking in the rooms is NOT allowed.

2x Vlakvark and Giraffe Log Cabin
This self catering cabin has either double / twin beds, shower, garden views, private braai / barbeque facilities, fans, fully equipped kitchen and the unit is self catering.

Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is suitable for larger groups and features a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a private boma. Rooms have either double or single bed, the bathroom has a shower over bath. Features include garden views, fireplace, self catering and smoking in the rooms is NOT allowed.

2x Vlakvark and Giraffe Log Cabin

How To Get To Phumuza Bush Lodge

Take the N1 to Polokwane and then take the second off-ramp for Bela Bela – Settlers. Continue straight to the T-junction at Maxi’s and turn right over the bridge. Turn right at first set of traffic lights onto the R101 and continue for 7 km.
With Klein Kariba on the left-hand side, turn right into Eersbewoon and look out for the Phumuza sign. Travel 1.7 km you will see another Phumuza sign. Turn right and proceed over railway line. Proceed along this road for about 1.9 km until you reach Phumuza Bush Lodge.
