Ra-Molopo is situated at Rooiberg in the Limpopo province, 80 km west from
Bela-Bela, in the picturesque and malaria free Waterberg biosphere.
Ra-Molopo, embracing some 2 000 acres of pristine bushveld, is positioned on the edge of an escarpment.
You can expect to be thrilled by panoramic views of wide open expanses fringed by the high rises of the picturesque Waterberg
in the distance.

Ra-Molopo boasts a wide range of accommodation options from the very upmarket Chapman's Peak lodge to the more rustic bush camp. What sets us apart though, is the fact that we accommodate up to 110 guests. This makes Ra-Molopo the ideal venue for conferences, weddings and other special occasions.

All accommodation is fully equipped for self catering, although we recommend that you treat yourself to some traditional South African delicacies at the restaurant.
The two lodges and bush camp sport their own private splash pools overlooking the landscape, while the chalet guests can enjoy the rock pool and deck area at the restaurant. Ample parking is available.

Chapmans Peak Lodge
Our premier offering located on the edge of the escarpment, boasts spectacular views from the luxury bedrooms and vast entertainment areas. The Lodge can accommodate 8 guests in 4 en-suite bedrooms, there is an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. There is air conditioning, fireplace, bar, TV with satellite, a splash pool and a barbeque area.

Thakadu Lodge
Enjoy the stunning views and lovely outdoor entertainment areas at this comfortable but smaller lodge. It houses 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, there is an open plan kitchen, dining room, lounge, air conditioning ,TV with Satellite, splash pool, barbeque area, a bar and a fireplace.

14x Chalets
These are situated a mere 5 minutes walk from the main lodge complex. Guests can relax at their own private self catering chalet or enjoy the many facilities and activities available. The chalets each have a fully equipped kitchen, open plan kitchen, dining room, lounge, barbeque area, private patio, TV with satellite and air conditioning.

Naboom Bush Camp
5 chalets nestled in a secluded private camp in the heart of the Bushveld. Become one with nature in this rustic, relaxed atmosphere. The camp is fully self catering, has a communal living area, kitchen, fireplace, bar, barbeque area, splash pool and a conference facility.

Fine dining, African style
Imagine enjoying your breakfast in the shade of a stately Marula tree or fine dining under the canopy-like branches of an ancient Wild Fig tree. Apart from the unique outdoor settings, meals are served in the restaurant at the main complex, seating up to 110 people for a lavish buffet or a la carte style dining.

On sunny days we expand the dining area onto the deck, and evenings are often spent relaxing around the campfire after dinner. The main complex also sports a true South African bar where a round of drinks can be enjoyed while enjoying your favourite sport on a big screen television.

Conference facilities beyond compare
The excellent location, ample accommodation and facilities at Ra-Molopo makes it ideal for small to medium sized corporate conferences and breakaways. Our conference facility seats up to 40 delegates U-shape or 70 delegates classroom style.

Full multi-media facilities (such as an overhead projector and screen, flip charts, photocopier, note pads and pens) are at your disposal. For smaller, executive breakaways, we recommend the Chapman’s Peak Lodge that can accommodate 8 people in stylish comfort.
The Naboom Bush Camp is fully equipped as a conference venue, and will appeal to groups of up to 20 people who desire a slightly more rugged experience - perfect for team building!

Please take note
Guests are welcome to bring their own mountain bikes and fishing equipment or rent the necessary equipment from us.
No self driving or quad biking is allowed on the lodge, to ensure that the tranquillity remains undisturbed.

How To Get To Ra Molopo Game Lodge

Take the N1 North to Pietersburg. Turn left at the Bela-Bela turn-off. In Bela-Bela, at the stop street (T-junction) turn right, cross over the bridge. Turn left at the first road and follow the bend to the right.
Turn left at the give-way. On reaching the traffic circle turn left, (Thabazimbi road). Continue on this road. Pass the first Rooiberg / Mabula turn-off (about 30km from Bela-Bela / dirt road).

Turn right at the second Rooiberg turn-off (about 60km from Bela-Bela). Rooiberg is about 18.5 km from the turn-off. Drive straight through Rooiberg until the tar ends and continue with the dirt road for 2.4 km. The Ra-Molopo Game Lodge entrance will be on your right.
