Rustic but luxurious, we offer self catering or bed and breakfast
options. Sandpiper Guest Cottages are accessible from Cape Town or Port
Elizabeth by following the N2 and taking the Boggomsbaai turnoff,
15 km's west of Mossel Bay. We have moderate climate and dolphins all year round, whales are
seen from July to October and we have own private Sport and Spa
Leisure Centre for our guests and also a Karoo style golf course. |

Sandpiper Guest Cottages Accommodation
Our authentic Cape cottages and our unspoilt nature area cannot be fully
appreciated in one night visits.
Sea Mist
Is a 5 Star Honeymoon Cottage with 1 Bedroom that has 3 inter-leading
bathroom areas downstairs. There is a 2nd Loft bedroom and extra bathroom
upstairs as well as a tanning deck.
Every cottage has a large indoor fireplace to braai South African style
or just to sit around at night and drink a toast to this paradise of peace.
Interiors are Yellowwood and Oregon Pine furniture with red clay tile
floors and comfortable bedding. All cottages are as fully equipped as
your own home with CD-players, mini-bars, microwaves, laundry facilities,
hairdryers and televisions.
- Traditional dinners by prior arrangement.
- Self-catering or B&B options.
- Special rates for visits between 2 and 5 days.
- Groups from 2 to 22 can be accommodated.
Voorhuis
Is a 4 Star Luxury Cottage with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small loft
upstairs. Every cottage has a large indoor fireplace to braai South African
style or just to sit around at night and drink a toast to this paradise

Sandpiper Sport and Wellness Centre at Boggomsbaai.

This stunningly beautiful bay at the start of the Garden Route but off
the main routes offers a range of leisure activities.
Suntan on our golden beach, body surf, catch your own fish, beach comb
on your own or with a guide along a section of the famous Oystercatcher
Trail.
Tennis, squash, sauna, bubble bath, heated indoor pool, gym, bikes etc
at our own private leisure centre whilst there are Big 5 Game Parks nearby.
Whale watching from the shore is viable in our mild winter months.
Activities
The Oystercatcher Costal Hiking Trail is a fabulous eco-adventure.
Rated as one of the top slack packing trails in the world.
We can provide guides for you to take you on short walks with beach lunches.
You return to your own cottage after an awesome half or full days walk.
Marvel at how the African Black Oystercatcher survives. Eat wild oysters
straight from the sea.

- A Trip around Seal Island by catamaran - home to approximately 3000
Cape Fur seals
- Boat or shore whale watching opportunities
- Game Reserves - Enjoy a game drive at one of the local game parks and
experience the Big Five up close in a-malaria-free area. All within a
20 minute drive.
- Sip a wine, guzzle a pizza or eat fresh fish at the superb local restaurants
in nearby Mossel Bay at the famous Point or at the harbor wall.
The nearby town of Mossel Bay also offers the Maritime Museum, Cultural
Museum, the Aquarium and the Ethno botanical Garden.
Watch artists at work at the Crafts Art Workshop, or go on a “Meet
the people” Tour. Ride the Choo Choo to George.
A fascinating trip inland is to visit Oudtshoorn and ride an ostrich or
visit the famous Cango Caves and cheetah ranch.
Wine and Port tasting at Calitzdorp is only 2 hours away from Boggomsbaai.

How To Get To Sandpiper Guest Cottages
From George
Take the N2 from George in the direction of Cape Town and 15km’s
past Mossel Bay you will see the sign for Boggomsbaai. Turn left towards
Boggomsbaai and follow the signs for Boggomsbaai and the Sandpiper Guest
Cottages.
