Bakenoord is the first 4 of ten labourer's cottages have been renovated into self catering guest houses.
The resort is 9 km from Bonnievale, in the picturesque Breede River Valley.
It is only 22km from the N2 at Stormsvlei and 28 km from Robertson.
Cape Town is two hours drive away and the Garden Route two and a half hours drive.

One house is situated between vineyards and a horse camp, with unspoilt views on the Langeberg and Riviersonderend mountains.
It is within walking distance from the Breede River and just a stone throw away from the farm dam.
The other 3 houses are situated on the banks of the Breede River.

Self-catering House
Die Kraal consists of two houses that can accommodate three guests in each, on single beds.
They are in close proximity to one another, ideal for families or a group of friends.
There is a communal fireplace inside the ring wall, as well as an indoor braai in the second house.
The kitchens are fully equipped and there is a rain water tank for drinking water.
All the bedding and towels are provided.

Self-catering Cottage
This cottage is situated just above the flood level with beautiful views.
The cottage is spacious and open plan with a fireplace and a queen-size bed with an adjacent bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an outdoor braai on the deck.
All the bedding and towels are provided.
There is a rain water tank for drinking water connected to a tap in the kitchen.

Self-catering Cottage
This cottage consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with two single beds.
One full bathroom is shared by the occupants.
The kitchen is fully equipped for great entertainment and the living area is cosy with a fireplace.
There is an outdoor braai for good old South African entertainment. All the bedding and towels are provided.
