Makinky Manzi "something different at the water" is an extra-ordinarily beautiful game farm with grasslands, hills, cliffs and the most fascinating waterfall which features a large waterhole filled with waterlillies.
Here you can dive and enjoy romantic sunsets, swims and sundowners.

Imagine your magical ceremony at our beautiful waterfall with a swimming pond at the bottom, filled with lilies, between the majestic cliffs. It is breathtakingly beautiful.

Your reception at the fantastic Thabile Hall, with the stone pillars and its clear view of the picturesque landscape of the Magalies mountain range and the Pilanesberg through the farm style wooden windows. Your wedding will be breathtakingly beautiful.
The name Thabile means "place of happiness".
The venue is situated on the ridges of the Los mountains and can accommodate up to 180 guests.

Makinky Manzi Accommodation

The accommodation is stylish with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
It consists of three large and four smaller luxurious safari tents on wooden decks.
Each large tent has a double size bed, two double bunk beds, an antique dressing table, a wardrobe and its own bathroom.
The three large tents can sleep up to 6 people and the four small tents can sleep up to 2 people.

The smaller tents feature two single beds each and share a bathroom.
All our accommodation includes bedding and towels.
We have also just finished building our wonderful and luxurious chalet, Letsatsi "the sun".

Directions to Makinky Manzi
From Johannesburg or Pretoria
Take the N4 towards Rustenburg.
Turn off at the R556 to Sun City/Majakaneng off ramp.
Drive past the Sun City entrance, 5 km to next crossing.
Turn left on the R565.
Just before entering Boshoek, turn right on Lindleyspoort road. Drive 18 km and turn left at Rietfontein.
After 1 km the road splits, keep left for 4,5 km.
Find Makinky Manzi on your right.

From Rustenburg: (16 km gravel road)
Take the N4 towards Swartruggens.
Drive 34 km and turn right at Hoëbome.
Drive 7 km then turn right at the T-junction.
Drive 8 km then turn left at T-junction.
Drive 800 m then turn left into Makinky Manzi's gates (Next to Waterval farm shop)

From Rustenburg (6 km gravel road)
Drive through Rustenburg with Nelson Mandela road.
Take the N4 road.
Pass the Olympia Park stadium and Ferncrest hospital.
Turn right at the three-way crossing to Phokeng / Sun City.
Drive 18 km through Phokeng and Boshoek. Just after Boshoek, turn left into towards Lindleyspoort.
Drive 18 km and turn left at Rietfontein.
Drive 1 km and keep left at the fork.
Drive 4.5 km and find Makinky Manzi on your right.
