Bredasdorp is a picturesque 2 hours drive from Cape Town via the N2 through Blue Crane territory. It is situated at the cross-roads to Arniston, Agulhas, Struisbaai, Swellandam, and Napier in the heart of the Overberg Wheat and Sheep farming area.
Giving an excellent launch pad for day trips to places such as De Mond, De Hoop, and Agulhas National Park to view the incredible fauna and flora found in the Overberg.
Wheatlands Lodge, a beautifully restored and well appointed old home, set in a peaceful private garden and located in the centre of Bredasdor.
Wheatlands Lodge provides is an ideal base from which to explore the southernmost tip of Africa at L’Agulhas, the beaches at Struisbaai or Arniston, the beautiful towns of Swellendam or Napier, or the abundant bird and wildlife in one of the nearby nature reserves.

Directions to Wheatlands Lodge
From Cape Town International Airport, take the N2 towards Somerset West. Follow the N2 towards Caledon. Turn right off the N2 into Caledon. Go straight through Caledon and follow the R316 through Napier and on to Bredasdorp. You will enter Bredasdorp on Long Street. You will find Wheatlands Lodge at number 40 Long Street. This is just after the third four-way stop street, on the right-hand side.

From the Garden Route/Mossel Bay, take the N2 to Cape Town. About 13 km after Swellendam, take the R319 left off the N2 to Bredasdorp. After about 60 km, you reach Bredasdorp. This is All Saints Street. At the first four-way stop street, turn left into Long Street. You will find Wheatlands Lodge at number 40 Long Street.
