Arolela (meaning 'sharing') is a guest farm in Caledon in the Western Province of South Africa.
It co-exists with a working farm, producing wheat, barley, oats and sheep.
The setting is typical Overberg with lots of blue crane birds.
The view alternates between canola yellow, brown, and luminous green, depending on the season.

The farm is only 1 hour's drive from Cape Town, situated 14 km from Botriver, 18 km from Caledon and 45 km from both Hermanus and Greyton.
All the staff involved in Arolela, live on the farm as they are related to the farm workers.

De Vlei Self-catering House
De Vlei house is a three-bedroom farmhouse.
The bedrooms respectively contain one king bed and cot; one queen bed and one single bed; and twin single beds.
The bathroom is fully equipped with a bath, shower, basin and toilet.
There is an extra shower outside for the adventurous.
There is a dining room with a table and four chairs.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, a stove with oven and a fridge with freezer.
There are braai facilities (wood available for purchase on the farm), DStv selected channels, a DVD player and a bush Jacuzzi.
We will provide all linen, bath towels and cleaning materials.

Klipfontein Self-catering House
Klipfontein is a five-bedroom house with two bathrooms, a dining room, a lounge, a play room and a well-equipped kitchen.
The bedrooms respectively have; one king with a single bed and a cot; one queen with a single bed; one double bed with a single bed; one queen bed; and one three-quarter bed.
The first bathroom consists of a shower, bath, basin and toilet.
The second bathroom is equipped with a bath, basin and a toilet. We supply all bath towels and linen for your stay.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a four-plate hob, a double oven and a side-by-side fridge-freezer combination. All dish cloths, dishwashing liquid and cleaning materials are included.
There is a nice fireplace in the dining room that also contains a huge table with 10 chairs.
The lounge is spacious with a piano, TV, DStv selected channels, and a DVD player.
Braai facilities and a bush Jacuzzi are available outside.
Wood is available for purchase on the farm to be used in the fireplace and to heat the water in the tub.
