Cape Point Cottages Accommodation
Each cottage has a wonderful large traditional South African farmhouse
stoep on which to relax or be inspired by your surroundings. All our cottages
are furnished; we also supply bedding and towels and a fully equipped
kitchen in each cottage.
In exploring the mountain, you will have a unique chance to see mountainside
Fynbos as it changes with the flux and flow of each season. The rich and
diverse Fynbos vegetation will also vary with the mountain´s altitude,
as well as the post-fire age of the vegetation. The highest peak of our
mountain offers spectacular 360° views of False Bay, Table Mountain,
the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the Atlantic and Indian Oceans - all
in one go!
The Stone Cottage : This cottage sleeps four. It has
a fireplace in the lounge as well as a sheltered outside braai area. This
cottage offers stunning views of the mountain all year round, and amazing
river waterfalls in the winter.
The Top House : This cottage sleeps seven. It has an
outside warm water shower and a fireplace in the lounge. This cottage
backs onto the mountainside and provides a base from which to explore
the mountain on foot.

Our self catering holiday cottages were built by early farmers at Cape
Point over a century ago. The cottages lie at the foot of the Swartkopberge
mountain range and are situated opposite the Cape Point Section of the
Table Mountain National Park.
Our cottages are situated on the largest private property in the Cape
Point area. At roughly 900ha in size, the property stretches up to the
peaks of the Swartkopberge mountain range and offers magnificent views
of the entire Cape Peninsula.
The highest point on the property (650m) provides unique unsurpassed views
of the entire Cape Peninsula, False Bay as far as Hangklip (on a clear
day); round to Table Bay and the outline of the majestic Table Mountain.
