The small town of Clarens is situated in the Free State of South Africa and on the border with Lesotho – about 3 hours drive from Gauteng and Bloemfontein and 4 hours from Durban.
Clarens, surrounded by magnificent sandstone mountains ( Rooiberge ) is one of the most beautiful places in SA.

Rooikat ( Caracal ) is situated in a very quiet cul-de-sac next to a stream at the foot of a sandstone mountain in Clarens .
This self-catering cottage is within walking distance of all shops, galleries, restaurants and many more site attractions, yet completely separate from the town centre's noise.

The cottage contains a double bedroom with king-size bed or two single beds. The sleeper couch in the lounge sleeps one adult plus one child or two children.

How To Get To Rooikat Cottage

From Bethlehem or Golden Gate, turn into Main Street and drive up to the village square. Turn right into Van Zijl Street and then immediately left so that you end up next to the village square. At the other end of the square, turn right into Market Street. Rooikat is situated at the very end of Market Street on your left.
