Time Out Bed and Breakfast B&B is located in a quiet cul-de–sac on the upper slopes of Clarens overlooking the village. It is surrounded by magnificent sandstone mountains and is a gentle 10 minute walk to the town square, art galleries, gift and coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.

Time Out Bed and Breakfast is a 3 star graded establishment and caters exclusively for one couple per booking ensuring peace and privacy. Mountain and river walks are on our doorstep with scenic views of the village and the nearby Maluti Mountains.

Time Out consists of 2 large rooms surrounding a spacious courtyard adjoining the main house. It has a separate entrance ensuring privacy and security with off road parking. The main room has the bedroom, a reading area and the en-suite bathroom.
The bedroom is decorated with modern local art, has a queen extra length bed , “Country Road” linen, goose down duvet, feather and hollowfill pillows.

Down and mohair throws , electric blanket and a wall and under carpet heater are supplied for the cold winters , with a light cotton quilt and ceiling fan for the summer. For grooming we have a hairdryer and hair irons.
The adjoining reading area has a remote controlled ceiling fan with books, imported magazines, and a tea / coffee station. The fridge is stocked daily with complimentary mineral water, juice and fresh milk.

The en-suite bathroom has a shower only and is supplied with bath luxuries including a face mask, vanity kit, spare disposable razor and mini-manicure kit with fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers.
The second room is a breakfast / sitting room has a mini-library, magazines and an independently controlled full bouquet DSTV exclusively for guests. All rooms are serviced daily. Time Out is a non-smoking venue. Non-smoking guests only.

Entering Clarens from Golden Gate or Bethlehem; go straight up Main street, drive past the Town Square, continue straight and turn 3rd right down Van Reenen street, left up Le Roux street and first left into Malherbe. Time Out is on the corner of Malherbe and Le Roux (No.95 Malherbe Street).
