Union House in Clarens provides guests with the ideal getaway destination in a luxury, colonial-style country guest house offering accommodation in 4 bedrooms, 2 of these rooms have double beds and 2 have single beds and a maximum capacity of eight guests keeps it small and personal. Outdoor adventure activities include mountain biking on man-made and natural trails, horse riding, fly fishing, birding, walking and hiking, 4x4-ing, visits to Bushmen paintings on the estate, rafting and kayaking on the Ash river, day trips to Lesotho and visits to nearby Clarens for arts, crafts or a round of golf. We offer an intimate Dinner, Bed & Breakfast experience with
a farm-style, open-plan kitchen and dining area with a cosy fireplace.

How To Get To Union House
From Fouriesburg
On the R711, take the Ficksburg Road / R26. Set your odometer to zero
at the Clarens / Bethlehem / Ficksburg intersection. At 7.7 km, turn left
onto the S293, which is a good gravel road. There is a sign for Sandstone
City and Shumba Valley at the intersection. After 2.7 km you will reach
a T-junction with the S344. Turn left and drive for 1.5 km. Union House
is on your left.
