We are situated in a quiet and tranquil setting, and it is an
ideal venue and perfect base from which to explore the Cape Peninsula.
The freeway leads to and from Cape Town International Airport,
(20 kms) the City and exciting Waterfront, also the beaches of Hout

and cozy winter under floor heating.
Just in case you left your book behind all rooms have a choice of a dozen
novels and some magazines if you don’t want a long read.

Carole's English and Continental breakfasts are legendary, we boast “one
of the best in Cape Town”, and our guests agree with us!
Enjoy a drink at the "Hampshire Arms" hospitality bar or around
the sparkling salt water pool. Our parking, for all guests cars, is behind
an automatic gate and is safe and secure. We are a non smoking residence
but the patio and garden don’t mind.
ATTRACTIONS / ACTIVITIES
Being situated in the Constantia Wine Valley is another added attraction
as it has a real rural feel to it, and you can visit any of the 6 wineries
only five minutes away. We have some of the top restaurants in the country
a very short drive away and a dozen choices from Pizza to Fine Dining.

Bringing your golf clubs? You have come to the right venue for golfers! We have 6 local golf courses, all within 20 minutes drive and a further 10 which are not even an hour away. Many of these are in the Paarl and Stellenbosch wine regions, so you can make a day of golf, lunch and wine tasting. Can a day’s golf get any better?!!
However, if you want a “get away and be private” style holiday, in Hampshire House you have found the perfect situation. With pleasure, you can remain at the property all day, basking in the sun and warmth of a beautiful Cape Town summer’s day at our very secluded pool.
