Quite simply, Manor-House offers exceptional quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation whether travelling on business or pleasure.
We have a room that will suit your requirements as we believe the little things are important.
We are easy to find, and close to all major Shopping Centres, Sporting facilities including Absa stadium, Durban country club, Windsor Golf Club, Kingspark swimming pool, Kingsmead cricket and the new Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Manor House Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

At Manor-House we try to create the comforts of a 'home away from home', offering many conveniences and services that is why all our 7 luxurious bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, and ceiling fans, a free-standing large 1-Bedroomed Cottage in our garden [sleeps 4] that contains separate kitchen and en-suite bathroom.

We have private entrances, all rooms are serviced by our friendly staff and smoking in the rooms is prohibited though there are smoking facilities outside the rooms.
All rooms have kitchen facilities including fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and a selection of essential crockery and cutlery for your convenience.

There is secure parking with an electronic fence and gate, a swimming pool/Lapa area with braai[barbecue] facilities, remember to bring your own beach towels.
We provide you with internet connectivity, fax, emailing, laundry services and airport transfers can be arranged. Choice of breakfasts which can be enjoyed in either our elegant dining-room or outside under the lapa with the beautiful view of the garden and we offer light lunches and dinners to order mondays to fridays

At Manor-House we try to create the comforts of a home away from home, offering many conveniences and services. These include outsourced laundry, airport transfers and even packed lunches (on request), while the tranquility of our scenic pool and landscaped garden are available for your relaxation. Braai (barbeque) facilities leave you free to enjoy a relaxing evening meal in the peaceful outdoors.

We provide a choice of breakfasts, all served with fresh juices, filter coffee and a range of flavored teas. Breakfast can be enjoyed in either our elegant dining room or outside at the pool, with its' beautiful views of the garden.
It's the perfect way to start your day.

We are also pleased to offer light lunches and full 3 course dinners. Manor-House Guest House is centrally positioned between Durban and Umhlanga Rocks, with everything being a stone's throw away from the La Lucia Mall, Gateway Complex, Suncoast Casino, restaurants and all central beaches.

KZN hosts numerous sporting events such as rugby, cricket, soccer, tennis, Pick 'n Pay Cycling Tour, the Dusi Marathon,and of course the Comrades Marathon as well as the Durban July Handicap.
The Umgeni River Bird Park is situated just down the road, opposite the Umgeni River, and is well worth a visit. The famous Sibaya Casino Complex is situated up the North Coast - only 7kms north of Umhlanga. The popular uShaka Marine World is also about a 10 minute drive away.

How To Get To Manor House Bed and Breakfast

FROM KING SHAKA AIRPORT TO MANOR-HOUSE
Exit airport and take N2 South. Travelling south on the N2, take the Umhlanga off ramp and turn left to get onto the M4, continue onM4 towards the city.
Take the 4th off ramp (Swapo / Broadway) and proceed past the shopping precinct to the top of the hill. Turn left at the traffic light into Northway.
At the 3rd traffic light turn left into Humber Crescent. Proceed around 2nd corner to the Manor House and press buzzer at gate for reception.

FROM NORTH COAST [FROM THE N2] - TO MANOR - HOUSE
Travelling south on the N2 take either the Ballito or Umdloti off ramp to get on the M4 and continue onM4 towards the city. Take the 4th off ramp (Swapo / Broadway) and proceed past the shopping precinct to the top of the hill. Turn left at the traffic light into Northway.
At the 3rd traffic light turn left into Humber Crescent. Proceed around 2nd corner to the Manor House and press buzzer at gate for reception.

FROM SOUTH COAST - TO MANOR - HOUSE
Once you pass the Old Durban International Airport, follow the signs to Durban. Stay in the left lane then take the Margaret Mncadi Ave (Old Victoria Embankment), glide off to your left and you will immediately get to a traffic light ( which is Margaret Mncadi Ave - Old Victoria Embankment on the Esplanade) - keep in left lane.
At the 6th traffic light thereafter, turn left into Aliwal Street. When you see the exhibition sign, do not take the exhibition centre / ICC continue on this road which then becomes Masabalala Yengwa Ave (ex NMR Avenue / Durban North -M12).

Continue straight and pass the ABSA Sharks rugby Stadium and Moses Mabhida Stadium on your immediate left and go through the next traffic light.
Continue and pass the Windsor Golf Course and go through the traffic light. Continue over the bridge and pass the Riverside Hotel on your right then turn right into Humber Crescent. at first traffic light. Proceed around 2nd corner to the Manor House and press buzzer at gate for reception on your right.

FROM GAUTENG/PIETERMARITZBURG [N3]
After Pinetown, take the N2 (North Coast / South Coast) and take North Coast. Take the first off ramp - Umgeni Road and turn right at the traffic light.
Follow the Umgeni road, pass Makro / Springfield Park etc. and keep in the middle lane and follow city signs. Continue until you see a glide off to the left side just before the Goble Road traffic light, take this glide off then follow Goble road till you come to a aT-junction traffic light.

At the T-junction traffic light, turn left into NMR (Masabalala Yengwa Avenue), see Moses Mabhida Stadium on your right, continue straight over the bridge till you see Riverside Hotel.
Pass Riverside up hill and see KFC / Comics / Garage on your left then turn first right at traffic light into Humber Crescent. Proceed around 2nd corner to the Manor House and press buzzer at gate for reception on your right.

FROM GAUTENG/PIETERMARITZBURG [N3]
FROM PIETERMARITZBURG TOWARDS DURBAN [N3] - APPROX 80 KMS
You will eventually pass Pavilion Shopping Mall, continue down the hill and go through spaghetti junction towards Durban. When the road splits into city and beaches, take beaches and continue on.
Just before Kingsmead Cricket Ground, follow signs to NMR Avenue / M12 / Durban North and take this left sign. Continue and you will pass the Kings Park Pooland Durban Country Club on your right and Sharks ABSA Stadium and Moses Mabhida Stadium on your left.

Continue over the bridge and see the Riverside Hotel on your right and KFC up the hill on your left. Turn right into Humber Crescent. at 1st traffic light, proceed around 2nd corner to Manor House and press buzzer at gate for reception on your right.
