Durbanville
Guest House is situated in the heart of the Durbanville Winelands, and
within easy driving and walking distance from all amenities.
Durbanville is conveniently situated for tourists as well as business
people visiting the Cape.
A 20 minute drive on the N1 takes you to the V & A Waterfront, Table
Mountain Cable way, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Ratanga Junction Theme
Park and Grandwest Casino to name but a few.
The Durbanville Winelands are right on our doorstep and within a 5 minute
drive, see our famous wine farms, the historical Durbanville Rose Garden
& the several excellent restaurants where you can dine in style or
Al Fresco, whatever takes your fancy.
Just 25 minutes away is Blouberg with pristine white beaches. Enjoy the
panache of world class shopping malls; Tygervalley Shopping Centre (10
minutes), Canal Walk Shopping Centre (20 minutes) and the multitude of
shops at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Virgin Active Gym is a mere 3 minute drive from the guest house as are
major supermarkets, the renowned Durbanville Private Hospital, interesting
specialty shops, coffee shops, chemists and all major banks.
Durbanville Guest House Accommodation
We have 7 rooms and collectively they accommodate up to 16 people. Each
open plan studio is spacious, comprising of a private bathroom with a
bath or shower, a lounge area and the fully fitted kitchen.
Room 1 has twin beds, a shower, a bath, TV, fridge, microwave,
kettle , stove, linen, cutlery and crockery. Room 2 has
2 twin beds and sleeps 2, it has a shower and a bath, TV, fridge, microwave,
clock radio, cutlery,crockery and linen.
Room 3 also has 2 twin beds, shower, TV, fridge, microwave,
clock radio, kettle, linen, cutlery, crockery and has NO bath. Room
4 is equipped exactly as Room 3.
Room 5 has a room with with a double bed, a shower,
TV, fridge, microwave, clock radio, kettle, crockery, cutlery, linen and
it has a private patio.
Room 6 sleeps 2 guests, has a shower, TV, fridge, microwave,
clock radio, kettle and is only a bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
There are also tea / coffee facilities. Room 7 has 2
rooms with a double and twin beds and sleeps 4 or 5 comfortably. It has
a shower, bath, TV, fridge, clock radio, microwave, kettle, stove, linen,
crockery, cutlery and has 2 individual bathrooms.
Durbanville Guest House Facilities
We provide off street parking facilities and a remote for the gate giving
guests freedom of movement and restricting unauthorized entry.
House keeping facilities are made available every fifth day for self catering
units but should guest require these facilities on a regular basis then
an additional fee will be expected and should be arranged with management.
For bed-and-breakfast units, rooms are serviced on a daily basis with an exception of sundays and public holidays. Guests are served in their rooms at a convenient time to suit both guest and host and may either be served a delicious full English breakfast or a wholesome health / continental breakfast and dinner is prepared on request.
A private laundry is made use of and guests will be charged reasonable rates should they require this service.
