Schoongezicht Guesthouse is situated in a rural setting on the edge of the beautiful Durbanville with a view on the farmlands and wine estates. Come and enjoy friendly, warm hospitality where owners and hosts Abrie and Linda will serve you with friendly but professional service. Experience our comfort and charm in a relaxed atmosphere where attention to detail is important. Relax on the stoep with a freshly brewed cup of coffee and enjoy the peace and serenity. This is slow living, but definitely not slow service! To us each guest is special and we treat our guests with respect.

Schoongezicht Guest House Accommodation

Our beautiful en suite bedrooms are individually styled.
Choose between a three-quarter, a queen or a king-sized bed.
Each room has its own private entrance to ensure that guests can come and go as they wish with electronic gate control for safe parking.

A well-stocked fridge with an honesty bar, coffee & tea making facilities in each room for your convenience.
And just to make it even more special, there will always be fresh fruit, home-baked rusks and cookies in your room.
There is DStv, a hair dryer and a safe deposit box in every room.
A comfortable working space is provided in each room for those on a business trip and broadband internet connection available.

Schoongezicht Guest House Facilities

The large swimming pool, which has been recently upgraded, will ensure you get enough exercise and the bird life in the garden will keep you guessing.
Braai facilities are available on request.
We will do your laundry and ironing for you at an additional cost.
Airport transfers or car hire can be arranged.
A full scrumptious breakfast served on the patio or in the main house at individual tables.
We take pride in our food and serve dinners for up to 20 people (seated) - to be booked well in advance.
Rather order dinner to be served in the evening instead of having to dress up and look for a restaurant after a long day’s work.
Dinner is served on request (except Sundays) at an additional cost. We have many top-quality restaurants in the area. So we’ll gladly give you advice and book a table for you at any restaurant you choose.

Directions to Schoongezicht Guest House

FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Leaving the airport, keep in the left lane.
After 1,5 km turn left towards Somerset West on the N2.
After 6 km turn left off the N2 onto the R300 (Bellville).
After 15,7 km the R300 forks; take the left fork (N1 towards Cape Town).
After 3,4 km take the Durbanville Exit 23 (R302).
Turn right onto Willie van Schoor Avenue which becomes Durban Road.
Carry on with this road past Tygervalley Shopping Centre until you reach a traffic circle in Durbanville (6,9 km from leaving the N1 to the traffic circle).
Look for the sign on the traffic circle indicating the road to Philadelphia (M58) (Koeberg Rd).
Keep going on this road for 1,4 km and turn right into Schoongezicht Street.
Turn right into the 2nd road (Eland Street).
Schoongezicht Guesthouse is the first house on your left (corner of Eland & Schoongezicht Street).
