Galleon
Nook is the ideal and secure accommodation for senior citizens, single
travellers, couples and families with children travelling to Fish Hoek
and Cape Town.
Children stay for free and are accredited and certified member of Noordhoek
Tourism.
We are situated in a valley with mountains, trees, birds, sea, sunshine
and local flavours.
Galleon Nook Accommodation
Our 1 bedroomed cottage accommodates 2 guests and has an option of a
king sized bed or 2 single beds with spacious en-suite shower.
It is equipped bed linen, pool towels, TV with local channels, hairdryer,
DVD player and the open plan lounge has a breakfast nook that seats 4,
a double sleeper couch together with high back settee and sturdy armchair.
The cottage also has its own entrance and a fully equipped kitchen that
includes glasses, plates, pots, cutlery, microwave, fridge and a stove.
A sparkling pool is accompanied by a BBQ area and the automated gates
provide easy access to authorized persons and guests.
The garden has comfortable furniture and an alarm panic button is installed
for health emergencies or other emergencies that is linked to an emergency
paramedic response centre.
The knotty pine high beamed ceiling with great ambience offers a calming
effect and there are views of the Silvermine Mountain Range from the windows
facing the back and Peers Cave.

How To Get To Galleon Nook
FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Take the N2 Highway going towards Cape Town as you leave the Airport;
when approaching the foot of Table mountain, take the M3 left towards
Muizenberg / Kirstenbosch Gardens, travel until the end of this highway-
past The University of Cape Town and famous Bishop's Court.
You will pass Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on your right, continue to
travel on the highway passed Wynberg, Constantia, Ladies Mile, Tokai (also
known as the Blue Route Highway).
Keep traveling toward the mountain until you reach a T-junction at the
foot of the mountain (end of the highway) and turn right towards Cape
Point and Simonstown (signposted).
Take the second left traffic light into Ou Kaapse Weg and enjoy a wonderful
scenic drive over the mountain pass (10 minutes), through the Silvermine
Mountain Reserve and Table Mountain National Park district.
Continue to the bottom of the mountain, turn left at the first traffic
lights (McDonalds and Shopping Mall's are all on your right hand side).
At the stop street turn right and 1st left into Galleon Crescent, we are
no. 7 Galleon Crescent.
