Our 4 Star accommodation offers 7 quality bedrooms overlooking the safe beach village of Fish Hoek.
Located half way between Cape Point and Cape Town city centre it is in the ideal position to explore all the famous Cape attractions and land marks, while living in a modern stylish executive home.

The views are panoramic from False Bay, to the Hottentot Mountains through to Table Mountain National Park, Chapman's Peak and the Atlantic Ocean.
Moon Bay Guest House is also graded 'Superior Accommodation' (by the AA) with exclusive Villa rentals, B & B and self catering accommodation in Cape Town. We pride ourselves with our hospitality and soft hands-on-management of the home and facilities leaving the guests to enjoy a 'Home away from Home' experience.

Come to rejuvenate yourself amongst the nature, seas, oceans and mountains, from relaxing with the whales and penguins to walking with the baboons and the bucks.

Moon Bay Guest House Accommodation

Moon Bay accommodates a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 16 and its be on a self catering or bed and breakfast basis.
We have 6 bedrooms, all with either king sized beds or twin beds. These bedrooms can be converted into twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 room will have a private bathroom.
There is a separate guest toilet at the entrance and 3 bedrooms have balconies - two bedrooms have a shared lounge with a sliding door onto a large patio and terraced area.

All these rooms are equipped with a TV, 100% cotton sheets, safes, hairdryers, beach towels and quality towels.
There are 2 lounges that sit 14 to 18 guests in modular design, 2 kitchens, 1 fully fitted with freezers / fridges, 5 balconies with stunning views, 2 patios and a terrace with a pool, a laundry comprising of washing machine, tumble dryers and iron boards.

The guest house has off street parking for 5 cars, 2 braai areas, 2 separate entrances and outside benches,chairs and tables.
The guest house can also either be rented out exclusively as a villa or with individual rooms. 1 suite rented would have 2 bedrooms, a private kitchen and a lounge, 4 bedrooms would comprise of a private kitchen, lounge and dining room and 6 bedrooms would be inclusive of 2 kitchens, 2 lounges and a dining room.

How To Get To Moon Bay Guest House

From Cape Town International Airport
At night follow the signs to Cape Town on the N2 then take the M3 south to Muizenberg. Travelling south from Muizenberg you will pass through small villages of St James and Kalk Bay before entering Fish Hoek – The Sea will always be on your left.
When in Fish Hoek you will go through the town. At the end of the shops is a large traffic circle. You go RIGHT. This is Kommetjie road – towards Noordhoek and Kommetjie.

You travel for exactly 1 km on Kommetjie road and you turn LEFT into Highway Road. Travel along Highway road for about 400 Meters (yards) – you will take the SECOND ROAD TO THE RIGHT.
There is a brown road sign for “African Tides” follow that sign. You will now be going up a steep hill - after about 300 meters.
At the top of the hill there is a sharp right turn almost U turn RIGHT into Peak road and we are the last house on the right about 600 meters along the road - 56, Peak Road and Moon Bay Guest House.

During the day there is a scenic drive
Exit airport and one Kilometre turn Left onto the N2 towards Somerset West (AWAY FROM CAPE TOWN). Take the 5th turning off the N2 Marked “Baden Powel Drive” and Stellenbosch.
Turn right towards Muizenberg and follow the main road for 26 Km until you come under a railway bridge then turn left to Fish Hoek. You are now travelling south from Muizenberg – follow as above.
