The Oryx Place Apartments offer guests affordable, comfortable and up-market self catering accommodation in Franschhoek. The apartments are situated on the Main Road which leads to the famous Huguenot Monument.
It is also within walking distance to award winning restaurants and shops in the village centre and is centrally located to the local wine estates.

Apartments are well appointed with open-plan living areas, kitchenettes and en-suite bathrooms. (Please note: Apartment 3 only has a shower and no bath) Our apartments offer our guests upmarket self-catering accommodation with exceptional value for money and are perfectly positioned as a base to travel to surrounding areas.

Apartment 1 and 2 upstairs have interleading doors while apartment 3 only has a shower. These apartments each have 1 bedroom, each is equipped with en-suite bathroom, heated towel rails, open plan kitchenette, lounge with flat screen TV with selected DSTV and air conditioning throughout.

The well appointed equipped kitchen has a kettle, small fridge / freezer, toaster, microwave, tea / coffee facilities and there is underfloor heating throughout.
There is a hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Other features include safe off street parking, safe in bedroom, full service every 3 days, free wireless internet and smoking indoors is prohibited.

How To Get To Apartments At Oryx Place

From the Cape Town International Airport
From the airport follow road towards the exit to the N2 highway towards Somerset West.Exit left to take the R300. Continue for approximately 16km which will take you onto the N1 highway.Take right hand access to the N1 highway towards Paarl.
Travel for approximately 32km.Take left hand Exit 59 (Jan van Riebeeck Drive) marked Wellington / Paarl. Turn right at the T-junction onto the R301 and proceed under the N1 highway towards Franschhoek.

Continue on this road for about 16km.You will pass Drakenstein Prison, historic site of Nelson Mandela’s release, on your right hand side. Continue to travel along this road till you reach the stop street. Turn left onto the R45 towards Franschhoek.
Continue straight until you enter Franschhoek. Take the first turn to the right into Cabriere Street. Cross the 4-way stop. Our reservations office is located at nr 32 on the right hand side of the road.

Via Stellenbosch
From the airport follow road towards the exit to the N2 highway towards Somerset West. Take left hand Exit 33 (R310) towards Stellenbosch. At the T-junction turn right to continue on the R310 to Stellenbosch. Follow the Franschhoek signs (R310) over the Helshoogte Pass.
Pass through small village called Pniel and pass Boschendal Wine farm on your right.At the T-junction turn right (R45) towards Franschhoek and continue for about 17km. Continue straight until you enter Franschhoek. Take the first turn to the right into Cabriere Street. Cross the 4-way stop.Our reservations office is located at nr 32 on the right hand side of the road.
