As the facilities are not suitable for the little ones, we unfortunately
can not accommodate children. Every room has been named after a South
African bird and decorated in different colours to enhance the individual
pieces of art printed on canvas above the queen size beds.
The beds are of excellent quality and dressed in white crisp 100% Percale
cotton linen. Because of the height of the ceilings, air-conditioning
is not necessary, but ceiling fans help to circulate cool air throughout
the summertime.
Wall heaters ensure a cosy atmosphere during winter months, TV is available
in every room and hair-dryers and toiletries are provided for your comfort.

How To Get To Auberge Alouette
When entering Franschhoek from Cape Town, keep going towards the Monument
up to Pick n Pay and the Post Office on your left. Turn to the left into
Reservoir Street East – just after the post office.
When entering Franschhoek from the pass, turn right into the Main road
and keep going South towards Cape Town up to P&P and the Post Office
on your right side.
Turn right into Reservoir Street East – just before the post office,
cross the stop street (Dirkie Uys Street); Auberge Alouette is on the
left side at the corner (Green roof and shutters). Proceed to reception
on the left in Reservoir street (Green pergola).
