Our spacious guest rooms (the Pinotage or Shiraz), and suites (the Merlot, Beaujolais or Chardonnay) have bath and shower en-suite, air-conditioning / heating, DSTV, hairdryers, and tea and coffee making facilities. The little patio areas with garden tables and chairs in front of our rooms, suites and Acorn Cottage allow guests to take full advantage of the wonderful weather.
Our Toffee and Appels cottages nestled in the vineyard each offer a double bedroom with bath and shower en-suite, a twin room with bath and shower en-suite, a lounge and kitchen, DSTV and wonderful views. Huge breakfasts are served in the sunny breakfast room or in the courtyard by the fountain.

Laze in the garden by the pool, have a game of tennis, enjoy a sundowner in the gazebo by the dam, say hello to our rescue donkeys and chickens in their paddocks, or take the dogs for a walk around the vines - the choice is yours.

The Pinotage Room has recently been redesigned and refurbished making it a very popular choice. A king size double-bedded spacious room (5 x 7 metres) with en suite bathroom, separate bath and shower. This is an upstairs room approached by a wrought iron staircase which has the benefit of a viewing platform with table and chairs, for enjoyment of the wonderful views.
The large double aspect windows offer stunning views of the mountains and countryside on two sides. As with all the rooms, a fridge and coffee & tea facilities are available. This room also has air-conditioning and heating and DSTV.

The Shiraz Room is one of our accommodation favourites. A large double aspect room designed in stylish reds that has many facilities our guests enjoy and want to keep coming back to! A large Queen four poster bedded room (7 x 5 metres) recently completely refurbished settee and wonderful views of the valley and paddocks full of Arab horses.
A new bathroom with a Victorian slipper bath and a small separate shower. This room also includes air-conditioning and heating as well as a fridge and tea & coffee facilities and DSTV. The room has its own table and chairs outside for your further relaxation.

The Merlot Suite is a popular booking for honeymooners with it's wrought-iron King bed making a grand statement. This suite has a King size bed on the upper level allowing you to lie in bed and see the spectacular mountain and vineyard views.
Recently elegantly re-decorated in muted autumn colours, the ground floor lounge is ideal for relaxing. The bathroom has a separate shower, and the suite also has a mini fridge, tea and coffee, air-conditioning / heating, and DSTV. The room has its own table and chairs outside for your further relaxation.

Have the perfect night in our pretty Beaujolais Suite where the upstairs lounge is ideal for catching the stunning views after making a lovely cup of tea or coffee. This large room (5 x 7 metres) has been recently refurbished and now has a Queen four poster bed downstairs looking on to the courtyard fountain, whilst the upstairs sitting area (4 x 5 metres) has views of the mountains and paddocks full of Arab horses.
An en-suite bathroom and separate shower are some features of this room as well as air-conditioning and heating. DSTV and a fridge with tea and coffee facilities which are also available. The room has its own table and chairs outside for your further relaxation.

A booking in the Chardonnay Suite has an added excitement for any children (or adults!) staying upstairs on the mezzanine floor. This is the recently redecorated family suite which sleeps 4 - a split level room with twin beds, a settee and easy chair on the mezzanine level which measures 4 x 5 meters, and a Queen sized bed and en-suite in the downstairs area (7 x 5 meters) leading onto the courtyard and fountain.
This is a very large room with space to put an extra bed if necessary. The en suite bathroom has both bath and separate shower. The room has air-conditioning / heating, tea & coffee making facilities as well as DSTV for your convenience. The room has its own table and chairs outside for your further relaxation.

The Cottages set in the garden are a firm favourite with families and couples allowing guests to enjoy that "home from home" feel. The cottage sleeps 4/5.
One double-bedded room and one twin room - both with en-suite bath and shower. The kitchenette is fully equipped and the living area has a cosy wood burner for winter warmth. It also has air-conditioning / heating and DSTV.
Outside, the cottage has its own patio with braai. It is close to the swimming pool so children can be supervised easily from the patio.

How To Get To Auberge La Dauphine

From the N1, take the turn-off for Franschhoek / R45 and continue straight through the village to the T-junction at the Huguenot Monument. Turn right and then take the second turn left into Verdun Road / Private Road. Proceed for approximately 120 m and Auberge La Dauphine will be on your right-hand side.
