Clementine Cottage is a beautifully appointed self catering cottage
on a working fruit farm. The cottage, set amongst orchards and vineyards,
is situated in a spectacular part of the Franschhoek valley. The farm is 20 hectares (+-50 acres) of which are planted with plum varieties, soft citrus (Satsuma’s and vines. It is hoped to establish a winery in due course. Water for irrigation is provided from a large dam on the property as well as by borehole. |

The cottage is 3km from the village and boasts magnificent mountain
views. You will appreciate the calm, peaceful atmosphere and can be assured
of total privacy.
Whether you stroll through the orchards, laze around the pool or explore
the Franschhoek Valley, you can be assured a memorable stay. There are
various wineries in the area for our guest to go enjoy wine tasting.
How To Get To Clementine Cottage
From Cape Town
Get onto the N1 towards Paarl, take the R44 turnoff to Wellington / Klapmuts
/ Stellenbosch then turn right at the stop sign and drive underneath the
N1.
You will come to a 4 way stop - go through the 4 way stop and over a railway
bridge. Turn left into the R45 – signposted Franschhoek, follow
the road past a few wine farms - Anura Vineyards, Glen Carlou, Backsberg,
Fredricksburg. You will go over a railway line and come to a stop street.
Take a right-Franschhoek is signposted 18 km. The road will take you over
the Berg River and into the Franschhoek Main Road.
