The Braekfast Room
Breakfasts are served overlooking the pool courtyard with the majestic
Franschhoek Mountains beyond. This elegant venue with its crisp white
table linen, generous chairs and original artworks is world famous for
its decadent breakfasts. Concertina doors open up to the outdoors in summer,
whilst winter days are warmed by a gas fireplace.
Breakfasts are sumptuous, buffet-style followed by an optional full English
breakfast made to order with special emphasis on the use of fresh herbs
from the garden. Typical fare includes:

Franschhoek is also known as the Culinary Centre for gastronomic choices with some of the top restaurants in the country situated in this region. Reservations are a must, which your hosts will gladly organize for you in advance, lest you be disappointed for lunches, picnic baskets, dinners or any special occasions. Wine tasting tours on bicycle, horseback or by transport can also be arranged.
This is the ideal spot from where to explore the many features of the
winelands and even farther a field in the Western Cape as we are centrally
located - within and hour or so drive to most attractions.
Franschhoek is the gastronomic heartland of South Africa spoilt for choice
when it comes to dining. All that is needed to enjoy great food is to
make timeous reservations. Wine tasting is as easy as driving to the many
cellars in the valley or book a tour.
The valley offers wine & cheese tasting, cellar tours, hiking, climbing,
cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, tennis, picnics, jazz every Friday
in season, monthly classical concerts, shop till you drop, health spas,
