The Holden Manz Wine Estate, owned by Gerard Holden and Migo Manz, is located at the top of the Franschhoek Valley dominated by the spectacular mountains which stand guard over the beauty below. wine estate benefits from wonderfully fertile and dark loam soils
and a state-of-the-art wine-making cellar. |

Our team is happy to cater for any event, or we can simply turn your big birthday or wedding into the unforgettable event of the season. Our creative team are eager to suggest and plan the most outstanding events for you, and our locations on the farm are numerous and varied.

The Manor House at the holden manz wine estate has been built in the cape dutch style but is only just over ten years old. luckily for our guests this means that the spaces you would normally find in a cape dutch building are vastly more comfortable and grand in layout on our estate – a clean line architecture of the dutch historic influence with all the mod cons of the twenty-first century, from underfloor heating to i-pod holders.
Extra large bed pillows invite to dive into a calm sleep after a day
filled with new experiences in the western cape winelands and the turn
down cards, the fresh flowers and a jug of fresh ice water on your bedside
table are only a few little extras that help us go this little bit further
with our care for you.
A modern art collection owned by the owners can be found throughout the
buildings – every suite has contemporary african art on show and
even the books and magazines on display in the manor house are of exceptional
quality and caliber.
In the warmer days the 6 guestrooms with their own terraces invite to
a very private garden tea experience, should it get a bit colder in the
evening, then you can sit with your sundowners in your suite in front
of a warming open fire, ideally with a nice glass of our red.
Other guest room features include extra king size beds or 2 3-quarter
beds which can be made up in one, en-suite bathroom with bath, shower,
wc and double basin. There is an air conditioning unit, Wi-Fi throughout
the Manor House, TV, CD, DVD player, DVD Library, i-phone player &
charger and a private terrace for all suites except for the "Oliphant
Mountain Suite".

How To Get To Holden Manz Wine Estate
We are based on Green Valley Road in the Franschhoek Valley. When you
pass through franschhoek on the main road (Huguenot Road) you will reach
the huguenot monument at the end. At this t-junction you turn right and
continue
for 2km.
Following our sign, turn left just after Cafe BonBon and follow the road.
For about 600m until you see our entrance which clearly sign-posted. Welcome
to the Holden Manz Wine Estate.
