La Fontaine offers you fourteen spacious double bedrooms en suite; five upstairs in the main house with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains; one downstairs; three garden-suites, and a family-suite set in a peaceful garden with large swimming pool and courtyard surroundings.
Each garden suite has a fireplace, DSTV, fridge, separate entrance and patio. Campbell House, an adjoining Victorian home offers you 3 dbl rooms en-suite, one of which is wheelchair accessible.
Enjoy a generous buffet, or full English breakfast served indoors, or under our vine-covered pergola during summer season.
The gardens have been beautifully landscaped to offer you privacy, and allows for a variety of birds to visit the garden during all seasons.

La Fontaine offers 14 spacious en-suite double rooms across our two heritage properties.
Five en-suite double rooms upstairs and one en-suite double room downstairs, in the main house.

Main House
Room One is an East facing room with a magnificent view of the
Du Toits Peak mountain range, with wooden floors, Queen sized bed with
an en-suite bathroom (separate shower).
Room Two is an East facing spacious room with views of the Du Toits Peak and Franschhoek Pass mountains. It has a King/twin beds, a full en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower. Used as the Honeymoon Suite.
Room Three is an East facing room with a Queen sized bed, a newly renovated en-suite bathroom with shower and a relaxing view of Du Toits Peak Mountain range.
Room Four looks to the West towards the Groot Drakenstein and Middelberg mountain ranges and has a balcony. It has twin beds, a newly renovated en-suite bathroom with Victorian bath and a shower.
Room Five is West facing and has magnificent views of
the mountains,
this room opens out onto a balcony for a panoramic view of the valley.
There is a Queen sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower.
King/Twin-sized beds with en-suite bathroom, downstairs in the main house (guide or driver room).
Garden Suites
The Vine suite opens out onto the garden and pool, sit out on the patio,
soak up the sun and enjoy a glass of fine local wine.
The Lavender suite is bright and sunny with its own entrance. It faces the main house and is close to the garden and pool.
The romantic Lemon garden suite opens out onto the garden and swimming pool, and is ideal for the young at heart.
The secluded and private Orange garden suite is ideal for a family, with a quiet peaceful patio and the convenience of being near the swimming pool.
Campbell House
A late Nineteenth Century building with verandah and pleasant gardens,
Campbell House includes 3 elegant en-suite rooms. Each bathroom has a
walk-in shower as well as a Victorian style bath. Upstairs is a terrace
with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
The Stables
“The Stables” situated behind Campbell House - consists of
2 rooms – main bedroom with King/Twin and an interleading room with
1 standard single bed for either a third person (Triple room) or 2 children
(1 single bed and a fold-out bed). The bathroom has a shower.
Children welcome, accommodated in our family garden suites, Orange +
Stables .
Ground level rooms wheelchair accessible.
Buffet & English breakfast served under the vines & in the dining
room .
Swimming pool (standard family size), beautiful mountain views, off street
