Sala Kahli Lodge is situated in the lovely town of Franschhoek
and offers all modern amenities to ensure guests have a relaxed
and comfortable stay. The lodge is about 40 minutes from the nearest
beach in Strand. Sala Kahli is set in a secure vineyard and guests are welcomed
with two complimentary bottles of wine made from the grapes just
outside. |

The large patio makes for easy outside living with a 10-seater Oak table and many relaxing chairs. A butler is available during the week to take care of all chores and breakfast preparation.
Sala Kahli Lodge Accommodation
This lovely home offers guests 3 en-suite bedrooms with lovely views
and 100% cotton percale linen and towels are provided. Additional rooms
can be created by converting the gym and cinema. The kitchen is fully
equipped and also has a walk-in pantry and a cold room.
Guests can enjoy their meals and have a barbecue on the large patio that
offer views of the pool and surrounding vineyards and mountains. Other
features include internet connection, air conditioning, swimming pool,
fireplace, TV with Satellite, balcony / patio, mountain and garden views.
Sala Kahli Lodge Facilities
The gourmet eat-in kitchen can accommodate 10 people around a central
table and all the usual upmarket appliances are included, including an
ice maker. Just off the kitchen is a large walk-in pantry and cold room.
The living room offers the ideal space to relax and unwind, and for cosy
dinners by the warmth of the two open fireplaces.
The lounge overlooks a balcony and this provides a very open and spacious
feeling. The living room is also equipped with a grand piano and music
centre.
Our cinema and gym can be converted into bedrooms to accommodate more
guests. Parking is also provided in the double garage. Guests can also
make use of the gym room, our cinema room, and a wine cellar can be found
underneath the house.
The lodge is fully heated with underfloor heating and air conditioning
is available in the master bedroom and the library / study. Satellite
TV is available and guests have Internet access.

Sala Kahli is set in a secure vineyard and guests are welcomed with two

swimming pool or soak in the Jacuzzi.

The lodge is about 40 minutes from the nearest beach in Strand. Within an hour is Boulders Beach where one can swim with the penguins. The world famous Pearl Valley Golf Course, which hosts the South Africa Open, is 15 minutes away by car. A supermarket and the Village Centre is located within a 10-minute drive.
How To Get To Sala Kahli Lodge
From Cape Town International Airport, merge onto the N2 via the ramp
to Somerset West and continue to follow this road. After 13.8 km, take
exit 33 for Baden Powell Drive towards the R310 / Stellenbosch/Macassar.
Turn left onto Baden Powell Drive. Travel for 12.9 km, turn right onto
Polkadraai Road / R310 and continue to follow the R310. After 2.3 km,
continue onto Adam Tas and after travelling 3.8 km, turn right onto Langstraat-Suid
Road.
Follow the road for 1.4 km and continue onto Helshoogte Road. Travel for 14.3 km on Helshoogte Road and then turn right onto the R45. After 14 km, turn left onto De Villiers Street. Take the first left onto La Grappe Street and after 150 m, Sala Kahli Lodge will be on your right-hand side.
