Each tastefully decorated luxury apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms,
a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and garage. The setting will give
you privacy, quietness and mountain views, yet you are only streets away
from award-winning restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and shops.
Come to Sorbonne for a quiet getaway, a reading holiday or a central point
from where to explore the surrounding winelands, historic places and nature

The Sorbonne complex consists of four apartments in a secured environment.
Each apartment can accommodate four people and has:

A living room with gas fireplace

Each apartment is equipped with quality furniture, appliances, two televisions,
linen and towels. Tranquil colour schemes and tasteful interior decoration
will make you feel at home.

Restaurants
Franschhoek - the gourmet capital of South Africa - is home to eight of
the country's top 100 restaurants. In fact, one in every five of the award-winning
chefs in South Africa reside in Franschhoek.
The French heritage is evident in the large number of restaurants with a French flavour in either their names or menus. However, you will also find excellent seafood, classical and contemporary cuisine, and truly South African potjiekos (local slow-cooked stew), spit-roasted meat, and pap en wors (mealie-meal porridge and sausage, with tomato and onion sauce).
If you are looking for something on the lighter side, try out a deli
with specialty cheeses, freshly baked bread or imported French cheeses,
the quaint coffee shops and friendly pizzerias.
