Franshoek’s village has a wonderful collection of art, antique shops and galleries, as well as the main streets which are lined with restaurants and coffee shops. It is easy to spend an entire day here and it serves as an excellent springboard to other wine routes. There are also a number of walking trails in the surrounding mountains, for the more energetic.

No. 3 at The Yard
Offers a one-bedroom, loft-style apartment with an en-suite bathroom with
a shower over bath, a spacious double-volume living area with a fireplace
overlooking the treed piazza below.
Other features include air conditioning, braai / barbeque area, outside
patio, hairdryer, fireplace, tea / coffee facilities, bar fridge, TV with
DSTV and smoking in the room is prohibited.
No. 6 at The Yard
This is a spacious two-bedroom apartment with en-suite bathrooms and a
large, luxuriously decorated open-plan living area. Other features include
air conditioning, bar fridge, balcony / patio, fireplace, heater, hairdryer,
tea / coffee facilities, TV with DSTV and garden views. Smoking in the
room is not allowed.

How To Get To The Yard
From Cape Town, take the N1 in the direction of Paarl and then take the
Klapmuts/Wellington off-ramp. Turn right under the highway towards Stellenbosch
/ Franschhoek, continue straight through the four-way stop, and then take
the next turn-off on the left towards Franschhoek.
Just after Vrede en Lust, turn right at the intersection onto the R45
towards Franschhoek. When you get to the centre of Franschhoek village,
turn right into Bordeaux Street and then turn left into Van Wyk Street.
Drive across the gravel parking area on the left-hand side to the basement
parking area at the back of The Yard.
