From The Walden Suites in Fresnaye, one of the most prestigious areas in Cape Town, the guest has very easy access to all tourist attractions and business centers within the Cape Region and they are all within driving distance (minutes).

The Walden Suites Accommodation

Most of the rooms have direct exit to a balcony or a terrace with king size or twin-beds, comfortable sleeper-couches and armchairs as well as SAT-TV (also German programs), Telephone, Radio alarm clock and Working-desk are in every room.
24 hours Internet-Access for your Notebook-PC via HotSpot (WLAN/DSL) is also available.

The Travertin tiled bathrooms are equipped with a shower and /or bath tub and hairdryer, bathrobes will be given out after request.

Enjoy the variety on the breakfast-buffet in the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area or on the garden terrace.
House-bar with wines from the local region, self-catering bar with tea, coffee, espresso and cool drinks is also available.

After an eventful day relax around our 17 x 4 meter salt-water pool with a sun-deck with views of the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy the sunset at the terrace or have an evening full of atmosphere in our lounge sitting around the cosy fireplace underneath the glass roof with magnificent views of Lions Head.

History of Walden's suites:
Below Lions Head lies the stylish, elegant Villa built 1923 in the best area of Fresnaye. Quiet, sunny and protected from the wind with fantastic views onto the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island and Table Bay.
House Walden is named by its first owner after the autobiography novel Walden from the American author Henry David Thoreau and converted into a B&B Guest House by the current owner in 2003.
The comfortable arrangement emphasizes the special ambience of the house and offers individual requirements for guests as well as the equivalent of a restful stay in Cape Town.
