Farm 215 nature retreat is a 4 star country house located on the "Fynbos-road" between Stanford and Cape Agulhas in the Western Cape's unspoiled Southern Overberg.
Farm 215 has been set up and is managed as a sustainable operation and is certified by Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa.
We place the integrity of the natural ecosystem around us in the first place and aim to keep the footprint of both ourselves and our guests as low as possible.

Farm 215´s partner, the African Horse Company has its base station on farm 215.
Far removed from the daily grind of life, farm 215 is a private and secluded retreat where you can enjoy luxury accommodation, tranquility, an overpowering sense of space and the unique nature of the Cape Floral Kingdom, the richest floral biome in the world.

Fynbos Suite
Large luxurious suites connected to the old homestead via a meandering path.
It consists of a lounge with fire place, bedroom with king-size bed (one suite with twin) and bathroom with bath and separate shower, all interconnected.
The large covered terrace stretching the entire width of the suite, offers spectacular views over vineyards, mountains and sea while the separate sundeck offers tranquility in nature.

Room Homestead
The rooms (45 m2 each)have open views over the Agulhas plains that stretch to the Atlantic Ocean, over the lake (Rainbows) and the surrounding vineyards and over the hills and mountains around.
One room with king size bed , one room with twin.
The rooms have a separate space with a dining table, comfortable reading chairs, bathrooms-en-suite with all the required bathroom-goodies, wood stove and fans.

Suite Homestead
Suite (60m2)on ground floor of the homestead with king size bed.
Bed area separated from lounge with fireplace with half-wall.
Bathroom en suite with bath and separate double-head shower.
Separate toilet. Ceiling fan, coffee and tea making facilities, cd-player.
Covered terrace and private enclosed garden. Sweeping views over the lake of Rainbow.

Directions to Farm 215 Nature Retreat & Synods Reserve
From Gainsaid, drive in the direction of Pearly Beach.
Just after Transvaal, turn left in the direction of 'Elli/Barnstormers'.
After 10 km you will have a big dam and vineyards on your left.
Once you have passed the dam and vineyards, turn left into gravel-road with sign 'farm 215'.
Drive on for 1 km, turn right into gate (sign :'farm 215').
Follow road to main house (keep left).
