Our Guesthouse comprises 3 “late-Victorian style” houses built just after the First World War.
One house is named after a decisive battle fought between the French and the Germans in 1916: Verdun.
Another is named after St Eloi, in France, where the Canadians suffered defeat against the Germans in 1915.
The houses have the typical characteristics of that era: high steel pressed ceilings, wooden floors, wide verandas and copper fittings.

Each house has been renovated to contain 2 self-catering units.
Each unit has 2 bedrooms (one a double en-suite and the other a twin en-suite), a lounge with DSTV and internet access, and a fully equipped kitchen. Each unit is ideal for a family, but can also be opened up to extend to a 4 bedroomed house which is ideal for a party of 4 couples, or even more.

From Cape Town Airport N2 to Cape Town 12, 0 km, take De Waal Drive exit toward M3/Cape Town 280 m, merge onto De Waal Dr - 3, 1 km continue onto Jutland Ave 250 m, continue onto Mill St 750 m slight left to stay on Mill St 170 m, turn left at Upper Orange St 260 m, turn right at Camp Street, the house will be on your left on the corner of Camp and Welgemeend Streets.
Please note that the entrance is located in Welgemeend Street.
