Benri B&B and Self Catering is situated in Gonubie, a popular holiday resort on the Eastern Cape Coast, approximately 20 Km form East London.
The swimming beach of Gonubie is one of the few beaches in South Africa that has been awarded Blue Flag status, ensuring a very clean and safe beach, especially for children.

The well-known "Boardwalk" is a great attraction, giving a person the feeling of almost "walking on the water".
Benri B&B and Self Catering is situated in Oceanway, which runs along the shore.
It is here that fishermen, joggers and strollers can relax away from the city's hustle and bustle.

The 3 level guesthouse comprises of three self-catering units and three bed and breakfast rooms. The penthouse, a two bedroom unit with a breathtaking 270 degree sea view, takes pride of place on the top level.
The B&B units, both with sea views and large balconies are on the second level. The two self-catering units are on the ground level, one being a single unit, and the other a double unit with separate sleep and living areas.

The Penthouse has a fully equipped, modern kitchenette with hob, oven and microwave; ample working space to prepare your own meals during long stays.

The tastefully decorated main bedroom of the Penthouse has a double bed and ample cupboard space. The second bedroom of the Penthouse has two single beds and ample cupboard space. Ideal for a family holiday. Tv with Dstv channels are available in this room as well.

Bayview
The lounge is spacious with TV, Dstv, Mini Hi-Fi, coffee table and uninterrupted sea view. Enjoy your meals with comfort and space on the dining room table.
The traditional kitchen is equipped with a Stove and Oven, Automatic Washing Machine, Dish Washer, Tumble Drier, Kettle, Microwave Oven, Toaster, Fridge/ Freezer, Cutlery and utensils for six people.

This Unit boasts with a lovely sea view and a lawn on the seafront where you can have a braai or just look at the dolphins.
The main bedroom has a double bed and a lovely see view with a walk in cupboard bathroom with shower and toilette. The Second room has 2 single beds and ample build-in cupboards for all your storage needs.

Attractions / Activities
For bird watchers we have the Gonubie Nature Reserve, Surfers - East London's premier surfing spot - Nahoon Beach. Aquarium on the Esplanade in East London.
The Inkwenkwezi and Mpongo Park game reserves are close to East London. The Strandloper Hiking trail ends in Gonubie.
East London Museum is the home of the Coelacanth. Interested in the old method of transport we have the Calgary Transport Museum. In the same direction we also have the Lion park. Those who are willing to take a chance the Hemingways Casino is about 10km from us.

How To Get To Benri Bed and Breakfast

Take the turn off from N2 Mthatha to Main Road Gonubie.
3rd robot turn right into 3rd Street.
Benri is situated on the corner of 3 rd street and Oceanway.
