Ocean Dreams Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

Ocean Dreams is a recently renovated bed and breakfast that offers one a choice of five tastefully beautiful furnished bedrooms. Four of which have private entrances.
All rooms are en suite, two of which have full bathrooms. All our beds and bedding have been carefully selected to provide the most comfortable nights sleep for guests. They are queen size with the highest quality 100% percale cotton linen.

Ocean Dreams has a two bedroom fully equipped self-catering* cottage with two rooms. Both of which are en suite with an open plan kitchen and lounge.
The lounge also opens onto a patio area where braai facilities are available. All rooms come standard with DSTV; ceiling fans; tea and coffee; hairdryers and toiletries. *Self catering unit will be serviced daily at no extra cost.

Atlantic Room
A spacious bedroom with cool fresh green decor. This room has a queen size bed with 100% cotton percale linen and an armchair to relax in. An en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and complimentary toiletries.
Room comes complete with DSTV, Bar Fridge, Microwave, Digital Safe, Ceiling fan, hairdryer, electric blanket, tea / coffee facilities and has a private entrance.

Arctic Room
Inviting, comfortable,crisp,warm, these are the images in the Arctic room. This room has a King size bed which can be converted to comfortable twin beds. Linen of only the best quality, 100% cotton percale to indulge our guest.
This room has an en-suite shower. A private entrance leads out to the garden. Room comes complete with DSTV, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities and toiletries as well as an electric blanket.

Indian Room
Beautiful warm orange and chocolate browns decorate this spacious room which has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
100% cotton percale Linen invites you onto a pillow Top Queen bed and a wing back armchair to relax in completes the warm and inviting room.
Huge cupboard space. Included in these comforts are DSTV, bar fridge, microwave, ceiling fan, hairdryer, electric blanket, tea and coffee facilities and toiletries. Comes with a private entrance.

Pacific Room
Luxurious and spacious bedroom decorated with rich burgundy tones and high quality 100% cotton percale linen. Queen size pillow top bed and two comfy chairs with a view of the sea off the private entrance.
Spacious en-suite with complimentary toiletries. Hairdryer, ceiling fan, DSTV, bar fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, electric blanket all available.

Southern Room
Cosy room sleeps two with a double bed offering a peaceful nights sleep in only the best 100% cotton percale linen and electric blanket. An en-suite with shower to refresh the weary traveller.
Large cupboard space to unpack. Room is complete with DSTV, digital safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities and toiletries. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen and lounge.

Self Catering Unit
Spacious and tastefully decorated fully equipped six sleeper with hob and an under counter oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, snackwich maker and all necessary utensils. Granite counter tops make this kitchen a pleasure to cook in.

An open plan lounge leads from the sliding door onto a patio and braai area which also has a weber braai facility. This unit has both the Arctic and Southern room which sleeps two people in each room and a double sleeper couch which sleeps two people.
Both bedrooms have en-suites, their own TV, DSTV, hairdryers in the rooms. There is also a digital safe. The lounge has it's own TV and DSTV (eight channels) to cater for family viewing together. The unit is serviced daily at no extra charge.

We offer our guests a choice of Continental or Full English Breakfast. There are many restaurants nearby or takeaways for dinner options and we are happy to make dinner reservations for guests at a restaurant of their choice.
Braai facilities are available on the premises and we will gladly supply guests with all utensils. Secure off-street parking is available.

Attractions and Activities
Ocean Dreams is situated just 300 metres from Gonubie's unspoilt pristine beach, bird sanctuary, golf course and boardwalk. The city is a short 15 minute drive away.
There is a convenience mall with a gym less than 500 metres away and a shopping complex with restaurants and entertainment within two kilometres.
Ocean Dreams is also the ideal base location from which to explore the Wild Coast Tourism and Leisure Route.

It's the perfect choice for relaxing accommodation. You can kick off your shoes and de-stress, whether you're on holiday or on a business trip.
Guests can enjoy upmarket, comfortable and spacious surroundings. On occasion you will find whales frolicking in the sea, splashing about and showing off.

How To Get To Ocean Dreams Bed and Breakfast

FROM THE AIRPORT
Exit the airport & follow Settlers Way. Continue (+-8km) until the road becomes Fleet Street.

Follow Fleet Street & take a left at the sign which says Fitzpatrick Road.
Follow Fitzpatrick Rd until the signboard say’s N2 Mthatha.

Follow the N2 Mthatha until the off ramp which says M10 GONUBIE.
Take a right at the end of the off ramp which takes you onto the Main Road.

Drive straight for 8km on the Main Road. Ocean Dreams is situated on the right.

Landmarks on the Gonubie Main Road is: Caltex Garage on left, KFC on right. We are 3km from these landmarks.

FROM THE N6
When you come off the N6 you approach a huge traffic circle, turn left and you will approach another traffic circle. Turn left again. (Landmark is Burmeisters).
Drive for +-5km on a winding road, you will approach a traffic light, continue straight for 8km. This is the Main Road in Gonubie.

FROM THE N2 (travelling from KwaZulu Natal)
When you are +-11km from East London you will approach the signboard which reads M10 Gonubie. Take this off ramp
At the end of the off ramp, turn left and you will approach a traffic light. Continue straight down, this becomes Main Road in Gonubie.
Drive for 8km on the Main road and Ocean Dreams is on the right. Landmarks on the Gonubie Main Road is: Caltex Garage on left, KFC on right. We are 3km from these landmarks.
