Views, views … and more stunning views – as well as great hospitality and affordable prices! 18 on Kloof is a family run 4 star guest house that promises you a memorable stay with all the comforts of home away from home. Steps and a short walk take you from the guest house to the famous Bikini Beach (Blue Flag status) and restaurants, the harbour and the main beach. We are ideally situated for visits to the many surrounding wine estates (Helderberg, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek) and for whale watching during the months from July to November. It is an ideal stopover to or from the Garden Route, only 30km from Cape
Town International Airport, and 60 km from Cape Town City Centre (+/-
45 minutes).
18 on Kloof B&B is situated in Gordon’s Bay, overlooking the
breathtakingly beautiful False Bay. We have five bedrooms, all but one
en-suite and three with private balconies.
All the bedrooms have a great sea view and are tastefully decorated and equipped with tv, dvd, small bar fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, air conditioning (except Rhino Room), ceiling fans, hair dryers, toiletries and cotton percale linen. We also have one family (self catering) unit (sleeps 4 max).
18 on Kloof Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
18 On Kloof offers five magnificent sea view bedrooms,
all but one en-suite, three with private balconies and four with a/c.
Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and are equipped with all modern conveniences
(TV, DVD, coffee and tea making facilities, ceiling fans, hair dryers,
toiletries, luxury cotton percale linen and more).
We also have one self catering (family) unit that can
accommodate 4 people.
The unit consists of one bedroom with queen size bed, a/c and en-suite
bathroom with shower, open plan lounge with 2 double sleeper couches,
TV / DVD and kitchen equipped with breakfast nook, fridge / freezer, microwave
oven,
2-plate stove, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, etc.
The lion room:
This spacious room is elegantly furnished with a queen size four poster
bed, couch which converts into bed, TV, DVD, air conditioning, mini bar
fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, hair dryer, en suite
bathroom with shower, toiletries and has great sea views.
The leopard room:
This charming room is elegantly furnished with a queen size bed, TV, DVD,
air conditioning, mini bar fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling
fan, hair dryer, en suite bathroom with shower, toiletries and has great
sea views.
The elephant room:
This charming room is elegantly furnished with a queen size bed, TV, DVD,
air conditioning, mini bar fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling
fan, hair dryer, en suite bathroom with bath, toiletries and has great
sea views. The room has a private balcony from where the stunning sunsets
can be enjoyed.
The buffalo room:
This charming room is elegantly furnished with a queen size bed, TV, DVD,
air conditioning, mini bar fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling
fan, hair dryer, en suite bathroom with bath, toiletries and has great
sea views. The room has a private balcony from where the stunning sunsets
can be enjoyed.
The rhino room:
This charming room is comfortably furnished with two single beds, TV,
DVD, tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, hair dryer, private
(NOT en suite) bathroom with shower, bath robes, toiletries and has great
sea views. The room has a private balcony from where the stunning sunsets
can be enjoyed.
Family room – self catering:
This spacious family unit has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a/c and
en suite bathroom with shower. Adjoining to bedroom is open plan lounge
area with 2 double sleeper couches, TV, DVD.
It has a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities,
toaster, electric frying pan and crockery / cutlery.
The unit has its own separate entrance and patio with BBQ facilities.
It has a view of the ocean and the surrounding Helderberg Mountains and
Hottentot Hollands Mountains.

- We overlook the breathtakingly beautiful False Bay, the Helderberg
and Table Mountain.
- Steps and a short walk take you from the guest house to the main beach
and restaurants, the harbour and Bikini Beach, where, apart from excellent
swimming, you can also arrange: scuba diving, fishing trips, jet ski hire,
canoe hire, waterskiing and sundowner cruises in the bay.
- It is ideally situated for visits to the many surrounding wine
estates and scenic drives in the area and is particularly popular
for whale watching during the months from June to November.
- Gordon's Bay offers a relaxed and safe environment with a variety of
sports from surfing to sailing and diving.
- It is within easy reach of Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Hermanus, Paarl
and Franschoek and is a perfect base for exploring the rest of the Western
Cape.

FROM CAPE TOWN:
- Take the N2 highway in the direction of the AIRPORT.
· Pass the airport turnoff and continue along the N2 towards Somerset
West.
· Pass through Strand and turn right at sign which reads GORDON'S
BAY / R44 / KLEINMOND.
· This road ends in a T junction at Gordon's Bay where you turn
left towards Kleinmond.
· This road is the R44 and is also known as Faure Marine Drive
and about 1.4 kilometres from the fork you will see 18 on Kloof on your
left.
FROM GARDEN ROUTE DIRECTION:
- On the N2 after Sir Lowry's pass you will see the sign for GORDON’S
BAY / R44 / KLEINMOND - turn left.
· This road ends in a T junction at Gordon's Bay where you turn
left towards Kleinmond.
· This road is the R44 and is also known as Faure Marine Drive
and about 1.5 kilometres from the fork you will see 18 on Kloof on your
left.
