Our three luxurious, self-contained apartments have their own entrances and off-road parking. They also have access to the braai-room, swimming pool, and sun-filled patio where you can laze on comfortable loungers, while soaking up the sun by the pool.

The Merlot suite is a spacious one-bedroom apartment, with a large fully equipped kitchen / dining area, fireplace in the comfortable lounge and a built-in braai on the balcony - a cool place to site with a chilled glass of wine, enjoying the breathtaking sea and mountain views. The large bedroom has a queensize bed, fitted wardrobes and a full en-suite bathroom with separate shower.

The Riesling Suite is a large two-bedroom apartment, with fabulous sea views across False Bay. The huge main bedroom has an en-suite shower room, kingsize bed, fitted wardrobe, and a comfortable seating area - the perfect place to enjoy the wonderful sunsets over the sea.
The spacious second bedroom has two three-quarter beds, fitted wardrobe and a full en-suite bathroom with separate shower. The impressive kitchen is fully equipped with a granite top bar counter and is open plan to the dining are a and comfortable lounge.

The Pinotage Suite is a large one-bedroom apartment with a kingsize bed in the en-suite bedroom, and a sleeper couch in the large lounge.
The spacious bathroom has a 'slipper bath' and a large separate shower. The modern kitchen is fully fitted and equipped, has granite tops and a bar counter, plus there is a separate dining area. The comfortable lounge has a fireplace, and opens onto a private patio with braai facilities, adjacent to the swimming pool.

All suites are luxuriously furnished to a high standard, with satellite television, DVD, Hi-Fi, lockable safes, ceiling fans and heaters.
There are hair dryers in all the bedrooms and the suites are serviced Monday to Saturday. Telephone, fax and e-mail facilities are available. Airport transfers and car hire can be arranged.

The British owners, Jane & Jim Yeomans, have travelled extensively and lived in South Africa for many years. They will ensure that your stay at Highcliffe House will be so comfortable and relaxing that you just won't want to leave this little piece of paradise.

Gordon's Bay is set in the foothills of the Hottentot Holland Mountains and has a quaint village atmosphere. With its many beachside restaurants and bars, two harbours, sailing, fishing and other water sports, Gordon's Bay is the ideal holiday retreat, and Highcliffe House is your perfect holiday haven.

Highcliffe House has been given SA Grading Council 4-Star rating and AA Superior rating. We regret that we cannot take children or pets, and we run a non-smoking establishment.

There is a salt water swimming pool available for guests to cool off after a day sightseeing or playing golf and the pool patio is the perfect place to relax on comfortable loungers, enjoying the beautiful views.
Or dine ‘alfresco’, under the stars, with a delicious glass of local wine, watching the magnificent sunsets over the Bay, then join your hosts and other guests in the cocktail bar for a nightcap, before retiring at the end of another perfect day.

Location:
Highcliffe House is close to safe, sandy beaches, and from July to November False Bay is a haven for whale and dolphin watching, as well as for many water sports, particularly fishing and yachting, as Gordon’s Bay boasts two harbours - the old fishing harbour and Harbour Island – a yachtsman’s paradise. Shark Cage Diving, Hiking, and Quad Biking are all available nearby.

In addition, there are 5 championship golf courses all within 15 Km and the wonderful Cape Winelands are just 10 km away, starting with the Helderberg wine region and on to Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. Cape Town International Airport is an easy 20 minute drive, and all the attractions of central Cape Town just 40 minutes.

Directions: From Cape Town Int. Airport, take the N2 north towards Kleinmond. Follow the road into Gordon's Bay, and just before the T-junction at the end, turn left into Boundary Road. Proceed up the hill to the top, and Highcliffe House is on the corner of Boundary and Bulbine Road, on the left.
