Trailer Hotel is on a piece of land owned by the Vuki Trust. The use of the word in Sotho however implies "Arise, be awake.
Go and do something for yourself", and with reason. The workers rallied together and obtained the financing to buy
the farm, finally in 2005. |

Daddy's Villa
If your escape-deal comes with a few friends or a tumble of family members
then the Villa is your spot.
With some self-catering facilities, you can lord it up on the hill as
you suck in the magnificent view and retreat to the simple, decluttered
contemporary interiors to rest and repose.
The three bedroomed Villa can sleep six friends and has a compact kitchen
with convection oven and stove, as well as fridge, kettle and toaster.
The bathroom has a ball and claw bath situated in an outdoor fynbos garden.
Its your steamy bath-beneath-the-stars moment. Stare up at the constellations
and feel at home in the universe.
Trailer Suites
Old Mac Daddy consists of ten trailer suites and two lake-side units Each
of our trailer suites is a world of its own.
The Airstreams themselves have been transformed into bespoke bedrooms;
each with its own theme, style and feeling - from the magical to the quirky
and a whole range of delicate and wonderful things in between.
All but the lakeside suites and honeymoon trailer, have additional living
areas and decks with low-fi furnishings which allow for light-filled lounging,
resting your eyes on the fabulous views and taking some well-deserved
time out.
An en-suite bathroom with shower adds luxury to the experience, making
it a camping holiday like no other.
Heated in winter, cooled in summer and cleverly insulated throughout,
you will be sleeping way past the first cock-a-doodle-doo.

From Cape Town International Airport take the N2 toward Somerset West.
Keep going over Sir Lowry's Pass and head towards Grabouw.
After Peregrine Farmstall, take a right into Valley Road.
Follow the signs from there.
