Family unit - KALANDER:
Kalander is a self catering three bedroom unit which forms part of the
lower ground level of the main house and caters for a maximum of 7 persons;
ideal for a family getaway.
• open plan kitchen, fully equipped with an electric stove, microwave,
fridge / freezer, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery, dishwasher and
washing machine
.• adjoining dining and living room areas
.• Colour T.V. with PVR Decoder and DStv Premium channels
.• Three bedrooms (two with double beds, the other one with three
single beds). All with comfortable mattresses, clean linen, duvets and
ample storage space
.• Bedrooms with double beds have small sitting areas
.• All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with towels. (Please bring

• Off-street undercover parking for two cars.

bed, en-suit bathroom and mini kitchen (for lighter meals)
• A double bed with a comfortable mattress, clean linen, duvet and

• En-suite bathroom (shower and bath) with towels. (Please bring
own swimming towels).
• Small sitting area with colour TV with DStv Easy View channels.
DStv Premium channels can be arranged for longer periods at an extra fee
• Kitchenette facilities, including bar fridge, microwave, frying
pan, electric kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery, wash up facilities
for smaller meals

KANFER:
- A self catering unit with two rooms that share a bathroom.
This unit is on the upper level of the main house and has a sea view.
- The main bedroom has a double bed. This room opens with a sliding door
to an outside deck with table, chairs and kettle braai. From the deck
a staircase leads to a 100 meter access to the beach.
- The second room is a combined small lounge with kitchenette with the
basic equipment, crockery and cutlery. It also has a sleeper couch for
a third person or two small children. A colour TV with DStv decoder is
available with DStv Easy View channels. DStv Premium channels can be arranged
for longer periods at an extra fee.
- The bathroom has a bath, shower, washbasin and toilet, with towels .

- Off-street undercover parking for one car.

Boompies - Holiday Accommodation is situated in the scenic village of
Glentana / Outeniqua Strand, midway between George and Mossel Bay (±25km
to both) on the Cape South Coast, only 5 km from the N2 national road.
With the George airport only 10 minutes drive away, Glentana / Outeniqua
Strand is ideally located for a relaxed getaway over weekends and holidays.
The airport is serviced by prominent South African airlines and has car
rental facilities available.

Directions:
Coming on the N2 from George or the airport: Take the Glentana exit and
turn left to Glentana. (From here it is 5.5 Km to the Entrance 2 turn
off to Outeniqua Strand). With Mossel Bay in your view, pass the following
turn offs (on your left): Oudeweg, Glentana (Hoogekraal Rd), Seesig and
the first Outeniqua Strand turn off (Entrance 1).
At the second Outeniqua Strand turn off (Entrance 2), turn left. Turn
again left in Gleniqua rylaan. Boompies is the sixth house on your right
at 203 Gleniqua rylaan.
Coming from Mossel Bay on the N2: Take the Great Brak River exit. Turn right and carry on under the N2 bridge. Turn left and follow the R102 over the river and turn right and carry on over the railway line in Morrisson Avenue. Drive for 5,5 Km and turn right at the Outeniqua Strand turn off (Entrance 2). Turn left in Gleniqua rylaan. Boompies is the sixth house on your right at 203 Gleniqua rylaan.
From the Outeniqua pass: You can reach the N2 by driving through George or, alternatively, take the right hand turnoff to Blanco at the foot of the pass and reach the N2 via Blanco and the George Airport.
