The lounge area features funky interiors flowing to an outdoor deck and
plunge pool. We offer wireless, always-on Internet access in the bedrooms
and lounge area.
All 9 rooms are en-suite with queen-size double or twin beds, TV, ceiling
fan, bar fridge, hairdryer and a wall safe. The décor is simple
and contemporary—from beach house fusion to retro chic.
We aim to run our guesthouse with consideration for people and the environment. With the generous assistance of our guests, we support two inspiring social projects, The Keiskamma Health Project and Earthchild Project. Our environmental initiatives focus on the conservation of energy and water, as well as recycling.
The Cape Standard is located in Green Point, close to the heart of Cape
Town. The guest house is in a quiet cul-de-sac and has off-street parking.
Green Point is on the Atlantic seaboard, and we are therefore minutes
away from some of the Cape’s finest beaches (Clifton and Camps Bay),
the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, the city centre, shops and numerous
restaurants. We are also close to the Cape Town International Convention
Centre (CTICC) and Virgin Active Point gymnasium.
