Head South Lodge has a "sophisticated contemporary" look and feel about it. Elements of art deco and retro still exist after the redecoration and the more recent 2009 additions. The 4-star grading by the South African Grading Council is justified by the decor alone. All 22 rooms are "luxury double" rooms, with en suite showers or baths. All rooms have TV with 6 channels, including satellite and an adult

Head South Lodge. A large percentage of guests are from Europe, and most
of them are involved in producing film commercials or photographs for
advertising.
These groups come mainly from October through to April, and "model
castings" tend to be an eye-opener for unsuspecting tourists.
