Welcome to D'Vigne LodgeThis classic Victorian home built in 1903 and beautifully restored with original pressed ceilings and sash windows. The main house has six bedrooms all en-suite. The old “Stable Block” which was used as a resting place for the surrounding farmers horse and carriages now houses three double self-catering units. |

A nearby golf estate offers golf, fishing, paddle ski, quad and mountain biking, a fully licensed restaurant and braai area. It is half an hour from Greytown driving through some of the most lovely countryside in KwaZulu Natal and well worth a visit. Merthley Lake and Lilani Hot Springs are also within easy reach.
D'Vigne Lodge Accommodation
There is a lovely country club, which offers squash and golf, also a bowling and tennis club. We have a private game lodge within twenty minutes of our Bed and Breakfast, which offers a day trip including game drives, walks, trails, bird watching and fishing; it has a restaurant and pool overlooking a stunning valley. This offer is for groups of ten and more.
Greytown is the gateway to the battlefield’s route. We are centrally located on a quiet street within walking distance to the museum, shops, banks, restaurant’s and take-aways. There is a lovely country club, which offers squash and golf, also a bowling and tennis club.

There are numerous historical churches and places of interest. The Shalom Ministry with our very own famous author and evangelist Angus Buchan is ten minutes away on the Pietermaritzburg Road. His now famous book and film Faith Like Potatoes make Greytown a must see area on the Amble Route.
This area is rich in diverse cultures, Zulu, Dutch, German, Victorian and Boer War displays at the Greytown Museum are a fascinating insight to this culturally rich area. We look forward to welcoming you to our lovely area and “D’Vigne Lodge”.
The main house has six bedrooms all en-suite. Two of them are exceptionally beautiful with Victorian baths. All rooms have fans, electric blankets, heaters and TV 1 2 3. The conservatory has been sensitively restored and now houses a comfortable cosy lounge with DSTV.
The dining room seats 18. Bottomless cups of tea and coffee are served. Safe undercover parking within the grounds, which is surrounded by a security fence with alarm beams. There is a lock up safe for your valuables.
