The Fishing Cottage is a self-catering farmhouse situated 30 km outside of Harrismith at Kerkenberg, and is on a horse farm on the edge of a fish-filled dam, with breathtaking views. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as an outside rondavel. Nearby activities are game viewing, horse riding, fishing, hiking, quad biking and hunting. How to get to The Fishing Cottage
Head out of Harrismith towards Bethlehem. 4km out of Harrismith turn left
on to the R74 towards Bergville.
8km along that road turn left again towards Bergville - R74 (alternative
route to Durban)
10km along there, just past the entrance to Sterkfontein Dam, turn left
onto the S19 dirt rd.
3.8km along, turn left, 3.9km along past little school on your right,
turn right.
5km on turn left into the farm.
